Chapter 300 - Chapter 299 — Can You Teach Me To Cook?

"Like I said, you're all still too immature," Ryuji sighed.

. . .

Just by listening, he could pinpoint each girl's location. His energy sense clearly told him which one was trying to gather power. And when their feet touched the ground, he could accurately track their movement paths.

Coupled with their complete inability to instant-cast their special attacks, it was perfectly normal for them to be utterly overwhelmed.

"Time to end this."

Ryuji rotated his arm, and an ice blade formed in his hand. While he still couldn't simultaneously control fire and water or split his focus perfectly, compared to them, he was a master.

Water seeped into the ground beneath the Sailor Moons' feet at his call. The moment Makoto unleashed a powerful gust of wind, Ryuji drove his ice blade into the earth.

Instantly, solid ice froze around their ankles, rooting them in place. In the next moment, torrents of water erupted from below, trapping them once again within spheres of water.

Waving his hand to disperse the lingering mist with a gust of sword wind, Ryuji looked at the five Sailor Moons neatly suspended in their watery prisons and sighed.

"It seems you still have a long way to go before you can fight me."

If this were a real, all-out fight, he could simply summon fire and burn them to death.

But this was a spar, and these were potential romantic partners. Using fire would be a waste.

With that, Ryuji released his control over the water. The five Sailor Moons were promptly dropped from their spheres. They looked at each other, then at Ryuji. Finally, Usagi was the one to speak.

"You... you weren't using your full strength, were you?"

They were all acutely aware of this. Ryuji rarely used water in combat, typically relying on fire and his greatsword. This time, he had only used basic water and fire, and even the fire seemed just to distract them.

"Mhm, I was trying quite hard," Ryuji replied gently.

"Liar!"

Usagi retorted angrily immediately, but then let out a sigh herself.

"We really are too weak, aren't we?"

She felt incredibly frustrated, but that was the reality.

"Your skill activation speed is still far too slow. I gave you opportunities. If any of you could have unleashed your special attack within three seconds, you could have hit me," Ryuji spread his hands, then continued.

"So, you should focus on practicing your skills first. Once you can activate them within one second, then you can train on how to incorporate them into your other attacks."

Ryuji shrugged, indicating they were being too hasty.

"Ugh... Looks like we really need to work hard."

Usagi groaned, but obediently began practicing her special move.

Ami and Makoto did the same. Rei and Minako shot Ryuji a look, they hadn't missed his earlier "clothing adjustment" tactic but chose not to call him out on it, instead also beginning their training.

However, Minako couldn't resist approaching him.

"How do you create those sword beams?"

Minako stared intently at Ryuji, her eyes burning with curiosity. She had wanted to ask earlier: how did he manage to attach his energy to his weapon like that?

Those attacks were incredibly effective. A major reason for their swift defeat was those casually released sword energies.

"This is called sword energy, but generally speaking, the damage from sword energy isn't greater than a direct hit with the blade. However, for someone like you..."

Ryuji looked at the sword in Minako's hand and thought for a moment.

"You can try channeling your power into it, then think about 'throwing' it out. That's the general idea. I don't really know how to explain it properly."

Ryuji genuinely didn't know how to explain his sword energy. He just sort of... learned it through practice.

But seeing the slightly disappointed look in Minako's eyes, Ryuji took out a notebook in which he had summarized his thoughts.

This notebook contained his insights on swordsmanship, as well as excerpts from G.S.D.'s and Aganzo's sword techniques that he found useful. It was essentially his training journal.

"Oh, you can take a look at this." He handed the notebook to Minako.

"This has quite detailed swordsmanship training and guidance inside. As for actual swordplay, your sword can't compete with my greatsword, so we'll use wooden swords to train your technique another time."

Minako took the swordsmanship notebook. Her eyes lit up as she opened it, seeing many useful things to learn.

Most importantly, Ryuji's own techniques were demonstrated within its pages!

"Thank you!"

Seeing the other four Sailor Moons focused on their training, and aware that Ryuji was looking at the exposed skin through the tear in her clothes, Minako took a deep breath. Summoning her courage, she quickly leaned in and gave Ryuji a light peck on the lips.

"That's a initial reward," she whispered, making a "shh" gesture before darting back into the yard, not giving Ryuji a chance to take further advantage.

The remaining Sailor Moons, unaware of Minako's action, continued diligently training their abilities.

Ryuji chuckled softly and didn't dwell on it.

He watched the Sailor Moons practice their special moves, offering guidance from time to time. The hours passed quickly, and soon it was evening.

To Ryuji's disappointment, none of the girls seemed interested in requesting "personal tutoring," which left him feeling rather let down.

Finally, as phone calls started coming, urging them to return home, the girls had no choice but to leave.

Especially Usagi, who absolutely had to be home for dinner. Her recent grades were already bad recently; testing her parents' patience further was clearly not a wise move.

"See you tomorrow, Ryuji!"

Although their sailor uniforms had been cut by Ryuji, once they de-transformed, their regular clothes were perfectly intact, unlike the last time.

So, Usagi and the others said their goodbyes to Ryuji with smiles, got into Misato's car, and headed home swiftly.

However...

Just as Ryuji started preparing dinner, there was a knock at the door.

Ryuji opened it to find none other than Makoto, who had just left. She was still wearing the same clothes, head slightly lowered, twirling a strand of her hair with her finger. When Ryuji looked at her, she spoke shyly.

"The church dorm doesn't have hot water right now... and I told them earlier I was staying over at a friend's house..."

By the time she finished speaking, Makoto's face was beyond just blushing.

Ryuji understood her intention and smiled, pulling her gently inside.

"Mhm, I see."

Looking at the flushed Makoto, Ryuji didn't immediately embrace her. Instead, he held her hand and led her into the living room.

"Is stew okay for dinner?" he asked as they walked.

"Huh? Are you cooking, Ryuji?"

Makoto looked curiously at the pot in the kitchen, surprised to find that it wasn't Misato cooking, but Ryuji, a man. This felt quite unbelievable to her.

Because in Japanese society, a man cooking was rather...

How to put it? In a household, the husband cooking was almost like saying the wife was incompetent.

"Because Misato has to go to work, and I don't need a job, so naturally, I do the cooking. Besides, Misato is completely hopeless in the kitchen," Ryuji said casually.

"I see..."

Makoto bit her lip, unsure what to say. But there was one thing she wanted to know.

"So... Ryu-kun, are you part of some secret organization?"

Although she felt Ryuji was a good person, now that things had reached this point, Makoto still wanted to know what Ryuji actually did and what his real profession was.

"Me? I'm not part of any organization. And..."

Ryuji continued chopping meat while flashing a roguish smile.

"Most of my money comes from robbing gangsters!"

"Ah..."

Makoto couldn't help but gasp, staring at Ryuji in disbelief. She instinctively pressed her fair thighs together and bit her lip.

"Is it that surprising? Or can you actually picture me working in an office?"

Ryuji chuckled, looking at Makoto who was a little scared.

"But don't worry, that method is too inefficient now. Currently, I'm on Queen Mira's payroll, acting as a military advisor for their country."

Ryuji casually mentioned a title; it was essentially true. Mira had given him a card linked directly to the royal accounts. No matter how much he spent would be covered by royal funds.

"I see..."

Makoto finally breathed a sigh of relief. That was certainly much better than being a robber.

"Otherwise, why would I suggest you go there for training camp?"

Ryuji placed his hand over the gas stove, using a special technique from the "Dongguan Shaolin Temple" to speed up the stew's cooking process.

The aroma soon filled the air, making Makoto's mouth water.

Just watching Ryuji move with such practiced ease made Makoto feel a little shy.

Because her own cooking skills were clearly inferior to Ryuji's.

"Um... My cooking isn't great, but I can help a little," she said, walking over embarrassedly. Her heart raced as she watched Ryuji stir the pot effortlessly. Finally, she gathered the courage to speak.

"Um, Ryuji, can you... teach me?"

Looking at the proactive girl, Ryuji chuckled softly. He took Makoto's hand and drew her into his embrace.

"Of course."

Her soft hand rested in his. As she settled against him, the curve of her butt brushed against the place where his cock lay ready. When he captured her other hand, Makoto offered no resistance. She simply allowed Ryuji to pull her body flush against his and guide her hands as he wished.

Ryuji breathed in the girl's scent, nuzzling her ear and temple with his nose. He placed a light kiss on her forehead and even gently nibbled her earlobe.

Makoto endured it all silently, responding with bashful acceptance.

"Alright... let's begin," Ryuji said, his voice a low murmur. It was time to commence his advance.

At that moment, Makoto felt the searing heat of his cock rising along the cleft of her butt cheeks, coming to rest firmly against her back.

"So big..."

The thought sprang unbidden to her mind. For Ryuji, however, this was the signal to attack.

"What's so big?"

He whispered into her ear, his voice teasing. He gave a slight, deliberate press against her waist, drawing a soft, involuntary gasp from her.

"Ryu-kun..." Makoto looked at his smirk, her tone laced with a mixture of complaint and something else.

"... you're a bad person."
