Even so, Ryuji made a mental note of it. After all, when someone bears such a striking resemblance to an anime character, it's only prudent to pay attention.
Just in case one day this world experiences a 'Spatial Quake', then he'd immediately know the cause.
As for getting involved in a Date A Live plotline...
With Origami reduced to being a milk delivery girl, what was there even to get involved in?
Ryuji didn't say anything more and let her leave, then started cooking.
The meal was as lavish as ever, but unfortunately, there weren't many people to share it with. Only Fujiko joined him; the Miyano sisters couldn't come down to eat, still resting in their room.
Their stamina was, frankly, just average.
After setting aside portions for them, Ryuji didn't bother them further.
However, just as Ryuji was happily enjoying his stew and pondering where he might've made a small mistake in the recipe, a beautiful figure vaulted over the courtyard wall instead of using the gate.
Ryuji was startled, recognizing the person as Usagi Tsukino, who should have been at school. He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.
Following her entrance, Ami, Makoto, Rei, and Minako also jumped in from outside, all clad in their Sailor Moon uniforms.
Then, Ryuji saw Chibiusa, wearing a black evening gown, leap in after them.
Ryuji's eyes narrowed instantly, followed by a disappointed sigh.
She was wearing athletic shorts under that evening gown!
'Wearing athletic shorts under an evening dress...' he mentally complained.
The next moment, Usagi rushed inside. Although she remembered to take off her shoes at the entrance, her actions were still rather wild and reckless.
Usagi slammed her hands on the table without hesitation, her face flushed, and pointed at Chibiusa behind her.
"What is the meaning of this child?!"
Her voice was full of an indescribable emotion.
"I think she's just got a few screws loose. You're still a virgin, and I've never slept with you. How could we possibly have a child?" Ryuji spread his hands, stating his view.
"And even if she were our child from the future, from the moment she time-traveled, she ceased to be exactly that. Her arrival inevitably changes things. For us, it means the timing of when you and I would... well... do it, would be altered because of her appearance. So..."
Hearing Ryuji's blunt description, Usagi slammed the table again.
"That's not what I'm talking about!"
Usagi glared at Ryuji, strongly suspecting he was behind this.
"What else could it be? Even if there's a one-in-ten-thousand chance she's our child, let me ask you this: would you want to marry me?" Ryuji asked with a light laugh.
"Who would want to marry you?!"
Usagi shot to her feet upon hearing his words, hugging her chest and turning her head away sharply. Her golden twin tails swept through the air in a beautiful arc.
But the moment she turned away, she realized her mistake and quickly added, "You're such a womanizer! This child says you have a harem! That we're all in it! Even the upperclassmen at school are in your harem!"
She pointed accusingly at the group of Sailor Moons behind her, who were watching Ryuji with a mixture of emotions, especially Makoto, whose expression was particularly intense.
Ryuji shrugged and spoke with a light laugh.
"Ha... So like I said, it's impossible. If I had to choose, I prefer Makoto. Her breasts are bigger than yours, her butt is perkier, and she's more obedient than you."
And most importantly, she came to me willingly.
Makoto's expression immediately softened. Her desire to confront Ryuji lessened considerably, especially since he was complimenting her.
She felt very happy!
"You... you jerk..."
Usagi couldn't help but clench her fists, wanting to hit someone.
"But since you all have the free time to come bother me over some stranger, does that mean you've mastered the techniques I taught you?" Ryuji took a calm sip of his drink and asked.
Although, due to the differences in their power systems and the five girls' relatively weak foundations, Ryuji could be considered a master in his own right. However, his lack of understanding of the Sailor Moon powers meant he could only offer indirect assistance.
"It's only been a day! How could we see results? Besides, don't you have any reaction to this? Chibiusa says you have a harem!"
Usagi sat down angrily, crossing her arms. She felt that Ryuji's reaction wasn't what she'd hoped for.
Ryuji paused for a moment, then replied very naturally, "Have I ever hidden my desire for a harem? If you're all willing, of course I'd more than happy to marry all of you."
His words immediately caused a stir.
Ami bit her lip, looking at Ryuji with dissatisfaction. She'd already given a down payment! Why did Ryuji still want a harem?
Was the appeal of that activity really so strong?
I should have satisfied Ryuji a little first...
She couldn't help but think, but immediately added mentally,
But going all the way is still too early... We should at least go on a date first...
"You're awful! Who would like a pervert like you!" Usagi said.
Makoto nodded in agreement. She also thought it was impossible for anyone to like a guy like Ryuji.
So, she would reluctantly take him for herself.
"That's right! No girl would like someone like you! No one would want to be your wife!" Makoto said.
Then, after a pause she muttered softly to herself, her face slightly flushed, "That's why… I guess I'll just put up with you."
"That's right, Ryuji. That's very rude of you."
Rei chimed in, nodding in agreement. His words were truly impolite and lacked the dignity befitting the head of a household.
How could a proper husband say such things?
Even if he thought it, he shouldn't say it out loud! It showed no consideration for his wife's feelings.
"The way you said that really makes me want to throw you into a pond..."
Minako said with an exasperated sigh, looking at Ryuji. She already knew Ryuji was a shameless scoundrel at heart but it didn't matter. As long as he wasn't targeting her friends, she could tolerate a bit of infidelity.
Usagi however wasn't done and continued to speak,
"And saying that is so irresponsible! Her power is exactly the same as mine! And she knows things only I should know! Shouldn't it be the same for you? Doesn't she possess abilities that belong to you?!"
Usagi believed Chibiusa was her future daughter.
First, because of her girlish heart; second, because of intuition; and third, because of the power Chibiusa possessed.
The second reason was the most crucial. The moment she saw Chibiusa, she felt an indescribable familiarity and an urge to hug her.
And when she heard that Ryuji refused to acknowledge Chibiusa as his daughter, her first instinct was to confront Ryuji and question what kind of father he was.
But it was only upon arriving at his door that she realized that coming here to confront him meant she was acknowledging, acknowledging...
That Ryuji was her future husband?!
After she finished speaking, she turned her head away again, unable to look at Ryuji.
Ryuji, having taken in their reactions, felt his eyes twitching slightly.
While he often saw such scenarios in harem comedy manga, experiencing it firsthand was both entertaining and exasperating.
"So what? If having my power makes her my child, then isn't my sword also my child?" Ryuji retorted mercilessly, then pointed at each of them in turn.
"Besides, if she really is from the future, doesn't that mean you'll all become my wings? Which means… there are other Sailor Moons in my harem, besides you, right?"
After saying this, he shook his head.
"You girls are still too young."
His words made the previously fierce Sailor Moons freeze. Their faces instantly flushed bright red. Makoto even secretly kicked Ryuji under the table, but he nimbly caught her foot, played with it for a moment before letting go, making Makoto lower her head in embarrassment.
"Anyway, you need to figure this out! Otherwise, I'm not leaving!"
Usagi, angered by Ryuji's self-righteous statement, slammed the table again.
Ryuji looked at her and shook his head helplessly.
"You're foolish, and you refuse to believe it. If she really is from the future, and you're all part of my harem, wouldn't her revealing this before we're married disrupt history? If she truly is our child, disrupting history would mean she'd cease to exist. So, there are only two possibilities."
Ryuji raised a finger.
"First, she isn't actually our child, but exists due to other circumstances. Even if I don't marry you, she will still exist. Second, no matter what happens in the future, you will all marry me. Which one do you choose to believe?"
Usagi was dumbfounded on the spot. The other Sailor Moons looked at each other, bewildered. Usagi's brain seemed to overload as she frantically tried to process this.
"You haven't eaten yet, have you? I'll make something for you. But while I cook, you'd better figure out which answer makes sense."
With that, Ryuji stood up and walked towards the kitchen. Did they really think this little dilemma could trouble him? Ever since he resolved to build a harem, he'd spent almost every day thinking about how to do it better. Did they think a problem like this could bother him?
In their dreams!
However...
Ryuji took a moment to glance at Usagi. The distorted World Power still clung to her.
He strongly suspected that Usagi's power suddenly producing a "daughter" was largely due to this World Power. After all, it was related to procreation/reproduction; such an occurrence was perfectly normal.
But for now, he planned to take it easy and cook something.
While he relaxed, the Sailor Moons turned their attention to Chibiusa, who sat beside Usagi looking equally confused.
"So, what's really going on?!"
Makoto crossed her arms and asked seriously.
She was the most concerned because she had already slept with Ryuji! If anyone's child should come from the future, it should be hers!
"Well, because of the time travel, I don't remember much. But..."
Chibiusa looked at Ryuji's back as he hummed while cooking, filled with resentment towards this father who refused to acknowledge her. She spoke through gritted teeth.
"I remember one of the Mothers... did it with Dad around this time. It was to protect that Mother from Ryuji's... influence, and to protect the others, to make Ryuji willing to teach you how to fight! I remember this plan was very effective; it almost succeeded."
The moment she finished speaking, Makoto felt her heart leap into her chest. She was plunged into a state of utter confusion. The ladle in Ryuji's hand nearly flew out, as he hadn't expected Chibiusa to know about this!
Fortunately, Chibiusa then pinched her chin and started thinking.
"But even in the future, I never found out who it was. The Mothers never told me. They just grit their teeth whenever it's mentioned."
She looked seriously at the five girls before her.
The next moment, Makoto quickly spoke up.
"Ahaha, that's impossible! We wouldn't be stupid enough to do something like that, feeding ourselves to this pervert... No way... Hahaha... That would be too dumb, hahaha..."
As she spoke, Makoto couldn't help but recall her performance yesterday and nearly burst into tears.
Ryuji was too powerful!
She really couldn't handle him alone!
But she immediately regretted her words, as they were practically a confession. To her surprise, the expressions on the other four girls' faces were also rather strange.
"Yeah... hahaha..."
