Adrian brought the steaming cup of tea to his lips, the subtle fragrance of spiritleaf and moon blossom dancing on the surface. He took a careful sip, just enough to taste it, and set the cup back down. His eyes, sharp and observant, never left the older man.
Alric mirrored the motion but didn't drink. Instead, he studied Adrian for a long moment, fingers gently tapping the armrest of his chair.
"So," Alric began, voice soft but steady, "you came to sell pills, yes?" He said while twirling one of the pills in his fingers. It was the pill that the clerk had taken out of the bottle when he first gave it to her.
He presumed she took it to the manager to show what they were dealing with. Since Alric was also an alchemist, he was able to tell how pure these pills were. Not that it was particularly hard.
