When the three got home, the staff were so happy to see Charles and Raine. The two masters were welcomed warmly and taken to their rooms to freshen up.
Gloria also headed to the master bedroom, where she freshened up before going downstairs, where she met with the kids.
The chefs had already prepared breakfast, so the three of them enjoyed a hearty breakfast.
After the meal, Gloria took the kids out for a walk.
"Auntie, what do you usually do at home?" Charles asked curiously, wondering what his stepmother had been doing ever since she came to the family.
Gloria held the children's hands as she walked relaxedly in the garden, enjoying nature as it was.
"Me! Um …. I don't do much, to be honest. When I first came here, I unfortunately got sick. As a result, I spent nearly two weeks lying in bed," she started from there since that was the truth.
When the kids heard that, they were surprised as they weren't expecting such a thing to happen.
