When she got there, Raine's face was scrunched with disapproval. She couldn't help but cut Gloria in the middle and asked angrily, "Auntie, why wasn't Gloria listening to her elders? That's dangerous!"
Gloria chuckled when she heard that. She caressed the little girl's face, coaxing her as she responded, "There is always a reason for everything. Don't worry, no harm will fall on her."
"But ….. she should listen!"
"Um, I agree with you. She should have listened. Unfortunately, it's already done. Anyway, don't be like her. Don't go anywhere by yourself. It's dangerous out there!"
Raine solemnly nodded her head. She wasn't stupid and knew how to take care of herself. She and her brother were nearly kidnapped at some point. If there weren't many bodyguards, who knows what might have happened to them?
So, she understood the importance of not straying away. That was why she was so angry when she heard about how Gloria defied the elders and slipped away.
