Gloria quickly suppressed her emotions. She couldn't let Simon see through her. Who knows what the man might do?

Thinking like that, Gloria was overwhelmed with nausea but suppressed the emotion once again.
She plastered a fake smile on her face as she looked at Simon and nodded her head as she answered, "Um. I just don't know who would be so vile to burn warehouses with people in it? I didn't know that there were such vicious people in the world!" she shook her head, disappointment on her face and didn't miss the subtle emotions on the man's face.
Simon clenched his jaws as he listened to Gloria. He wanted to rip her mouth off for speaking about him like that, but when he thought about how he would be exposed if he reacted otherwise, he could only suppress himself.
