The day flew very quickly, and on Williams's side, after handling business at work, he drove to the clan house first, where he reported his day's work to Simon, who looked much better.
"Sir, you have received an invitation to a gathering in City F, but I haven't yet given a response."
"What kind of gathering?" Simon asked curiously, finding it very coincidental that he was planning to go to that city despite having no appointment, but he suddenly got a legitimate excuse and reason.
William didn't keep it from Simon and readily responded, "It's from the Eagle clan."
Simon frowned when he heard that, trying to find which clan that was.
William, as if sensing what his boss was thinking, added, "It's a newly established clan. Just freshly created. Apparently, they are having a banquet, but it's only a small banquet with clan heads."
When Simon heard that, he snorted with disdain.
