Scarlett tears rolled down her cheeks as the image of Logan holding that nobody's hand lingered in her memory. Why can't Logan forgive her ? Why does he have to marry another wretched woman just to seek revenge on her ? Her chest tightened painfully, her whole body shaking and shuddering.
She won't let this wedding take place even that meant she'd embarrass herself.
With that, she left the restaurant.
Inside a car,
Caroline was sitting down on the driver's seat waiting for Charles. Even though they are in a relationship, they have been busy lately which has affected her mentally.
After a while,
Charles entered the car sitting on the passenger seat.
"Babe, you called. " He said as he stretched his hands to pull her into his embrace.
But the words she said next force his hands mid air.
"Let's break up Charles. " I'm tired. She said calmly even though her heart broke sharply at the words she just spurred out.
Charles was so shocked as he didn't know what to say.
"Did I do something wrong?" He suddenly asked letting his hands fall.
"No, but I don't think this relationship can work. We have been dating for two years now and I think it's enough for both of us. " She said calmly.
"Carie, let's ––"
Leave my car. She said coldly not Looking at him.
Charles couldn't believe his ears at what Carie had just said. Why was she breaking up with him when he didn't do anything to her.
PLEASE LEAVE MY CAR CHARLES COLE. She said sharply.
Charles was still in disbelief and suddenly left the car in stunned disbelief.
The moment he left the car, Carie sped off in max speed.
Why would she break up with him? He mused as he order a cab to take him home.
She was speeding like a bullet on the road as she violently parked the car by the side of the road causing other cars to honk at her violent speed.
The moment she parked her car, the tears she was still trying to hold suddenly bursted out in powerful violent flows. Her heart was breaking painfully as she clutched it tightly taking in deep shallow breaths.
While she was clutching her painful heart fiercely. The car door was opened violently making Carie almost scream in horror but swallowed hard.
Her heart was still in pain upon breaking up with her man.
As she was sobbing, a masked man sat on the passenger seat, his face couldn't be seen as he handed a white handkerchief to Carie.
Caroline took it slightly her hands trembling to clean her tears.
The masked man was watching Carie for a while before he slowly removed his mask revealing his face. On his both cheeks were a deep fresh wound.
Carie almost freaked out on seeing the injury.
She tried to calm her self down but heart kept beating faster and faster than before.
This man that she didn't know from anywhere had suddenly appeared in her life and told her to break up with her boyfriend. For some reason, when she refused, he had threatened to kill her and every member of her family. So she agreed, her plan was to visit Charles so they could finally get to be intimate even though she was still keeping her virginity for him.
But this strange mysterious man has appeared while she was on her way to Charles house and told her to break up with Charles. It hurt her a lot as she had practice every possible way to end the relationship and without thinking twice blurted out the most painful words,
"Let's break up Charles. " Those simple painful words stung deep than a knife being pierced in the heart.
She swallowed the painful lump stuck on her throat before facing the man bravely.
The man kept staring at Carie for a while before he said,
"My name is Don. I'm of one Gregor's men. "
"Who is Gregor?" She asked calmly but her voice constricted painfully.
You will find out on the day of the party. He will be coming tomorrow evening for preparation of the party. With that, you will see him. He said indifferently making Carie who the hell Gregor was.
Alright. I will be looking forward to see him. She said calmly. She must see that man Don had spoke about. Who the hell is Gregor?
With that, Don left the car while Carie started the engine of the car and drove away.
In starwave restaurant,
Logan and Hannah were sitting at the VIP section. The table was long like a rectangle filled with varieties of rich foods of chicken wings, and pepperoni pizza and other meals.
There were also varieties of expensive and luxurious fruit wines on the table.
Hannah stared at the fully equipped table and thought to her self,
"How on earth would they be able to eat all these meals?"
Pick up your cutleries and start eating or do you want say something? Logan asked blankly.
Hannah didn't say anything and picked up her knife and fork and placed it on her chicken but didn't use it.
She suddenly felt embarrassed to the core that she couldn't use a fork and knife. Her heartbeat non stop knowing fully well that this isn't just a simple date he had brought her. He wanted her to learn.
Logan who was sipping from his wine glass cup stared at her calmly watching how her hands tremble slightly.
She didn't want to embarrass herself or make a fool of her self knowing how Logan will mock her.
"Still don't know how to use a fork and a knife?" He asked coldly making Hannah hands tremble and the whole ketchup spilled on her face and her dress. Hannah suddenly felt more embarrassed than before. What the hell did she just do? Is this how she is going to keep embarrassing him in public even if they were in a private place of this famous restaurant?
She quickly grabbed a white napkin and use it to wipe her face clean smearing her makeup all over.
Logan watched her expressionlessly as Hannah quickly cleaned her face and took out her phone to check herself with her phone camera only for her face to turned beet red in pure bliss embarrassment.
