Grayson's words cut off abruptly as Leia interrupted him sharply.
"You don't need to pretend to care about me all of a sudden," she said. "I'm still upset with you."
"Leia… then tell me what I must do to ease your anger," Grayson urged, stepping closer. "Tell me about it, and I'll do it."
Leia's gaze remained steady, though her voice softened slightly. "First… You need to tell Delia the truth." She paused, then added, "The rest… I'll decide later. I need time. I've learned so much today… I need to process it. And I don't think your lives are in danger anymore since you're in this pack."
Without another word, she turned toward the door and walked away.
Renzo chuckled under his breath, rising to his feet. "Your daughter is a lot like you, Grayson, fiery and stubborn."
