"Are you ready to go back home?" He suddenly asked surprising Lila who had thought he wouldn't free her.

"You thought I wouldn't free you? I'm not wicked." He chuckled lightly making Lila slightly embarrassed for thinking such.

"I'm ready. " She smiled meekly while Julian held her hand and left the castle to escort her to the royal carriage that would return her home.

"Take care". He cupped her both cheeks.

"Thank you". She smiled before entering the carriage while the coach man ride away.

The moment she left,

Julian smile slowly faded away and he leaped back inside to check the guest room.

In the Frasers apartment,

Mr Fraser had already gone to work except Evelyn.

Evelyn was still asleep and suddenly jolted awake. She sat up on the bed,her hair covered her face before she slowly used her her hand to run her hair backwards so she could see.

Her mind was blank for a while until she heard a low growl.

She furrowed her brows in confusion and got down from the bed and left the room to the parlor. But on reaching the parlor, she saw no one.

"Well....that's strange". She murmured to herself. She turned around and was about to go back to her room whensbe heard the low growl. This time around, it sounded deep and pained.

Evelyn furrowed her brows in confusion.

What was that sound? She asked herself as she slowly walked towards the kitchen but didn't see anything.

"Hello?"

She called out but no response.

Sighs*

she sigh and was about to go back to her room when she heard that same deep familiar, masculine husky voice which was colored in endured pains.

"My moonlight flower, save me".

Evelyn furrowed her brows confused.

Her heart hand Ben thumping wildly and ferociously in her chest since she heard that low growl that sounded pained. But now hearing the familiar voice that sent tingles to her skin made her subconsciously bit her bottom lip hard. She was lost as she didn't know what to do. She didn't even respond to the voice.

Then again, the voice spoke again more fiercer and authoritatively.

"SAVE ME". He growled loudly as though something was killing me making Evelyn closed her eyes tightly and fiercely. As if being hypnotized, she rushed to her room to change and get cleaned up.

After washing up, Evelyn dashed out of the house hastily before closing the door.

She began to walk as fast as her legs could carry. She didn't know where she was going but she kept moving non stop until she heard his deep voice inside her head,

"Cold river".

Evelyn closed her eyes tightly as she tried to focus on the road and direction of where she was going. Not long after, she finally arrived in front of the same river she had came out from few days ago.

For some strange reasons, her feet began to act on its own as she walked slowly towards the huge river that looked calm like an ocean.

Her heart thumped fiercely in her chest as she slowly approached the edge of the cold river. Her mind was running a fearful marathon race. Why did she suddenly agreed to come here?

What made her come here out of the blue?

She could feel as though something or someone was calling until her in the deepest part of the cold river.

Her head fler numb as she suddenly felt dizzy.

She steadied herself before stopping at the front of the cold river. The edges of the cold river looked smooth and hard but she didn't dare touch it. She slowly closed her eyes as if summoning powerful courage from the world until she heard that deep familiar masculine voice sent chills down her spine: sending warmth to her body. Her cheeks flushed as tingling sensation sink deep to her body.

"My moonlight, you came. I knew you would. Now save me. "

Evelyn slowly opened her eyes as she glanced at her side but saw no one. She had heard his voice loud and clear close to her ear. He almost gave her eargasm.

His voice sounded deep, husky and seductive. Even though he wasn't seducing her, but his voice and they way he called her 'his moonlight' sent a warmth coursing through. She clenched her fists tightly before unclenching them.

She took in a deep breath before exhaling softly.

She squatted down towards the edge and was about to put her fingers inside the water when she suddenly paused.

"Something is wrong somewhere".

She thought with a narrowed gaze.

She had heard his voice in a low growl before he had said he should save her.

" Now here she is, how will she save him?" She thought with a deep frown.

Unbeknownst to her,

In the dark shadows, a pair of silver eyes were watching her from the dark shadows. His silver eyes moved slightly as though he could hear her thoughts. And then, he moved like a whirlwind before he vanished into thin air.

Evelyn sigh weakly and was about to give up when she heard his deep masculine voice again,

"Put your hands in the water and spread it. "

Evelyn was stunned in disbelief on hearing his voice and his order.

She knitted her brows in confusion and asked confused,

"How? I don't know how to spread water? Is that even possible?"

The voice spoke again,

"You can do it. Believe in your self, I'm waiting..."

Evelyn gulped hard as her heart was pounding wildly in her chest as though any moment from now it will explode into combust.

After a while, she took in a deep quiet breath before exhaling softly. Then she stood up and packed her hair into a bun before moving closer to the cold river and carefully placing her fingers inside the cold river. The moment her fingers touched the water, something unexpectedly shocking happened.
