"Very good, pass!" Iruka said with a proud smile.

"Next, Hinata Hyuga!"

Hinata glanced shyly in Tian Yu's direction.

Tian Yu gave her an encouraging smile and said gently, "Don't be nervous. Just perform as usual. I believe in your strength."

"T-Thank you… thank you…" Hinata's voice was barely audible, like a breeze. Her face flushed a light crimson as she quickly looked away, bowing her head as she walked into the examination room, her fingers poking together out of habit.

Such an adorable girl, Tian Yu thought to himself, amused.

Not long after, Hinata emerged from the classroom, her steps light, though her cheeks were still tinged pink.

"T-Tian Yu-kun… I… I passed the assessment… Thank you…" she murmured again, glancing at him nervously.

"That's amazing, Hinata." Tian Yu smiled and patted her head gently.

Hinata's blush deepened instantly. She stood in front of him, lips slightly parted, as if wanting to say more—but in the end, she stayed silent, too shy to speak her heart.

Just then, a figure rushed over toward Tian Yu.

It was Naruto, bruised and battered from the earlier scuffle with the bullies, panting hard.

"Waaaah! Big Brother Tian Yu! What should I do?! I'm too nervous!!"

"What are you afraid of?" Tian Yu said with a chuckle. "Didn't I already teach you how to use the Clone Technique? You've practiced it a hundred times."

Naruto nodded vigorously, though his face still looked uneasy.

"I'll be fine! I'll do it! Believe it!!"

"Next, Naruto Uzumaki!" Iruka's voice rang out from the classroom.

Naruto gulped and took a deep breath. "Okay, time to shine!"

He dashed into the examination room.

Seconds later…

A loud shout burst through the door.

"Uzumaki Naruto—unqualified!!"

"Huh?" Tian Yu blinked in confusion, eyebrows furrowing slightly.

That's not right. With my training, he's managed to control his chakra well enough. He should've nailed the basic Clone Technique…

The door swung open.

Naruto didn't just walk out—he burst from the room like a rocket.

"Naru—" Tian Yu began, but Naruto shot right past him without a word.

One meter… two meters… he was nearly at the target.

"Pfft—!"

Naruto suddenly froze mid-air.

He stood stiffly, barely half a meter away from the restroom, his face twisted in agony.

"G-Gods… Big Brother Tian Yu…"

Tian Yu instantly understood what had happened.

Covering his forehead with his hand, he sighed. "Got it…"

Half an hour later, Tian Yu passed a fresh change of clothes through the bathroom door to a mortified Naruto.

Two hours later, cleaned up and dressed, Naruto sat on the school bench next to Tian Yu, his face dark and dejected.

"I'm sorry, Big Brother Tian Yu… I messed up…"

His voice was small, filled with guilt.

He hadn't passed the graduation exam.

But more than anything, he was upset that he had disappointed Tian Yu—the older brother figure he admired so much. With how powerful and respected Tian Yu had become, Naruto felt completely unworthy.

"So, what really happened in there?" Tian Yu asked, though he already suspected the answer.

"I… I had diarrhea…"

Naruto muttered miserably. His face twisted as he recalled the embarrassment.

Then suddenly, he wailed, "Waaaah! I shouldn't have eaten that instant ramen this morning! It had gone soggy from sitting overnight! I was sweating buckets in the exam room, and I couldn't focus my chakra at all!"

His voice cracked with emotion.

"Damn you, cup noodles! I'll never eat you again!!"

Tian Yu: "…"

Right… I forgot.

Naruto, despite being stronger and more competent now than he was in the original timeline, was still Naruto—unpredictable, impulsive, and utterly ruled by chaos.

And as in the original manga…

He failed the graduation exam.

Some things, it seemed, were destined to happen.

Tian Yu sighed and leaned closer, whispering something into Naruto's ear.

Naruto's eyes widened.

Later that evening, Tian Yu received an urgent summons from the Anbu. A message had come from the Hokage's office.

After changing into his Anbu uniform at home, Tian Yu vanished into the night, his black silhouette flickering like a ghost as he leapt toward Hokage Rock.

Meanwhile, Naruto sat alone on the school swing, watching the ground as the wind rustled the dirt.

He was lost in thought, swinging idly.

"Hey, Naruto!"

A voice broke through the silence.

Naruto looked up to see Mizuki-sensei walking toward him with a kind smile.

"Sensei Mizuki!"

Naruto stood up, eyes lighting up in surprise.

He wasn't startled by Mizuki's appearance.

He was surprised that—just as Big Brother Tian Yu had said—Mizuki had come to him.

Was this…

Was this the moment Tian Yu mentioned?

Was this his chance?

His chance to finally… graduate?
