The fight went on, and the more Wooyun hit the beast, the more he was amazed by it.
It was insane to think that those hunters were able to kill them off so easily. The leviathan shrieked, its tail thrashing wildly in frustration. The beast's scales had begun to crack where lightning, shadow, and water had all collided, thin glowing lines running along its spine like fault lines in ice.
"Now's our chance!" Dong-geun yelled, already charging forward again, blades drawn back.
"I'll go high, you go low!" Chan-woo barked without looking, his dark blade thrumming with even more qi than before. He leapt with ease, his form disappearing into a swirl of mist and shadow.
Wooyun didn't hesitate. He rushed in from the front, lightning qi swirling at his feet as he dashed across the ice in a blur. With his qi now moving freely through his body, the weight of his earlier injury seemed to vanish.
