The innkeeper nodded quickly. "Aye, clear as day! Kinda hard to miss."

Jaha's expression hardened. "Purple Flame Fortress."

Junghwa turned his head slightly, his eyes narrowing. "You're certain?"

"I'd stake my tavern on it," the man said, raising both hands. "Ain't every day you see that insignia 'round these parts. Looked like she belonged to one of em' fancy sects. They had an energy 'bout em'. Anyhow, he needed a caravan to get to Sapphire City. Since the place was filled with tourists n' whatnot, I reckon it was hard ta find one. The lady offered em' a ride." 

"I see. Thank you," he said quietly, placing a single coin on the counter, one that shimmered faintly with qi. The innkeeper's eyes widened, unsure whether to bow or run.

As Junghwa turned to leave, Jaha fell in step beside him, his tone grave. "Should we track them down?"
