Chapter 307 - 306. Communion with the Vishanti

◉◉◉◉◉

Days later, Nolan noticed something curious. Through the subtle tether formed with Susan Storm, fragments of psionic insight trickled into his mind casting patterns, micro-adjustments in willpower, ways of shaping force.

Even without a binding pact, the resonance persisted.

It reminded him why beings of true multiversal stature always left imprints of themselves across realities. Traces echoed whether or not contracts existed.

Wanda, though, still amazed him most. Her Chaos Magic didn't just negotiate with dimensional lords; it bypassed them entirely.

So long as she knew the sigil and incantation, she could pull raw power straight from a dimension, ignoring its sovereign.

That audacity was possible only because of her lineage because behind her stood Chthon, one of the true multiversal overlords. No dimension dared deny her.

Nolan exhaled slowly. "It's time. He's aided me more than once. I should face him directly ask how to breach the barrier into Universal Singularity."

Adjusting his stance, he prepared the ancient ritual handed down through Kamar-Taj.

Every Sorcerer Supreme eventually performed it: a spiritual journey to commune with the Vishanti, the Trinity of Oshtur, Hoggoth, and Agamotto.

Oshtur — source of white magic.

Hoggoth — invoked in countless Kamar-Taj wards ("the hoary host of Hoggoth").

Agamotto — the first Sorcerer Supreme, a being as old as the World Tree itself.

Together, the three formed the Vishanti: one of the ultimate mystical entities across the multiverse.

Nolan inscribed the circle. At its center, he placed the Eye of Agamotto with the Time Stone nested within. At the array's edges, he positioned the Book of the Vishanti, left in his care by the Ancient One.

"The ancient Vishanti, by the mantle of the Sorcerer Supreme…"

His chant deepened, orange light flooding the sigils. The array flared brighter, until the chamber blazed like a newborn sun.

A current seized him pulling his soul upward, out of the confines of this universe.

For an instant, Nolan glimpsed it all: spheres of reality like endless orbs, shrinking as his vantage rose higher. He remembered this sensation from the day he received the spider-gene totem vision, only then it had felt like a dream.

Now, as a Skyfather-tier being, his spirit was stable enough to witness the truth.

He ascended until the cosmos themselves became a backdrop and there, waiting in the void, stood three silhouettes of impossible scale.

The Vishanti.

"Child," one spoke warmly. "You've come."

Nolan bowed. "Honored Vishanti."

The figure chuckled. "No need for formality. You are of our line. Agamotto himself chose the first Sorcerer Supreme; by that chain, you stand in his mantle. Strange that your Ancient One forced the succession so soon yet effective."

Nolan smiled faintly. "My teacher's faith carried me here. And… I thank you for your aid against Dormammu."

The Vishanti's tone shifted, serious. "It was a bargain. Dormammu and Chthon are allies of convenience. He seeks to merge darkness with chaos; I seek to counterbalance them. By striking down even a projection of Dormammu, you weakened his reach."

Nolan frowned. "You… seek to become the true God of Magic?"

"Perhaps," Agamotto answered without denial. "We and Chthon exist in opposition, locked in pursuit of that title. Your intervention serves as an investment. You stand closer to breaking into the multiversal tier than any mortal I've observed in ages. And in that war, I will need allies."

Nolan's eyes narrowed. "So even among the multiversal, there are factions."

A deep laugh echoed. "Of course. Beyond the multiverse lies an even higher road. Every being claws upward. War is constant."

The light of their forms intensified. "But for now, listen well: your universe may be weak, but your uniqueness propels you forward. We sense in you the spark of Singularity. Not yet clear, but present. Whether artifact, lineage, or essence, it will define your ascent."

Their gazes pressed gently upon him, vast yet without malice.

"Time is short," Agamotto said. "Ask."

Nolan drew a steadying breath. "Am I walking the right path? How do I break through to become a universal singularity?"

The Vishanti's voice resonated like a bell across eternity.

"There is no single path. What is right for one is ruin for another. You must tread your own road. As for your breakthrough… the answer already lies in your grasp. You've sensed it. You've known it. But you've doubted."

Understanding settled over Nolan. He bowed deeply. "Then… I thank you for your guidance."
