Chapter 457 – Twisted
"This won't work on me." Apollo growled, his eyes glowing with fires of wrath, "I don't know who you are trying to fool, but it's a useless thing on me."
"Fool?" Law scoffed, crouching down on the floor, facing directly the eyes of Apollo without cowering, "I have no intention to fool you anymore. I already did. And I made you choose, by your own will, to take a step out of the political game of the Celestial."
"And you went even further by killing your daughter and making her reincarnate."
She stifled a laugh, "After that, everything was easy."
The more Law talked, the more Apollo began to feel a bad feeling knotting inside his being mercilessly.
He gritted his teeth, still adamant about not believing a word out of her.
"My sister," Apollo began, his voice tight, "is doing what she must to keep our cover. She does not love her husband."
His voice deepened, sounding like the growl of a wrenching beast, "She doesn't dare."
