Seeing that Ojog has been intimidated enough, Guerra stopped his antics and sheathed back his Zanpakuto.
"It's either join the Empire or run wild in this barbaric land that you call a World."
Ojog, still disappointed by his powerlessness, he decided to angrily walk out the door and exit the lab. As he walked out, he uses sonido to travel quickly but after using it two times consecutively, he began running out of breath and was angry at himself and Guerra.
"Damn it! cough cough* I can't even... hah... use sonido!"
Ojog walked out of the village, finding something to fight, walking aimlessly around the desert. After an hour of wandering around, he encounters 2 adjucha class hollows, taking shape of wolves. Ojog, casually walks up to them in his usual cocky demeanor.
"Well, isn't this a sight? Don't you know predators are lurking around-"
One of the wolves interrupted Ojog by pouncing in the air and leap down while aiming to bite his throat. Ojog prepared to fire a cero rojo by pointing his index finger at the wolf above him. Red aura began to surround his finger, and concentrated as hard as he can to unleash it .
"Come on... Just a little bit more focus, and that'll do it."
Despite pouring all of his focus on firing the cero rojo, the other wolf used sonido to go behind Ojog and attack from there. The sudden attack threw Ojog's focus and tried to rely on Endlessity's spacial stopping power to halt the attack but his spiritual pressure was weak compared to the wolf and its bite ultimately connected, successfully gnawing on his lats. Ojog tried to get the wolf's jaws off from his back but before he could do so, the wolf above him bit his right bicep, knocking him to the ground.
The 2 wolves continued to maul Ojog, but he persisted. One of the wolves speaks up about Ojog's demeanor.
"Ye damn bastard, walkin' up to us like yer all the stuff!"
Ojog gritted his teeth in anger and grabbed a dead quartz twig and stabbed the wolf that was talking. Ojog then turned his attention to the other wolf and began mercilessly beating it by uppercutting its jaw, delivered a left hook then finally stomping its head until it could no longer move around.
After finishing the wolf off, Ojog laid down, panting heavily as it nearly left him to die. Ojog screamed in frustration as he had to reevaluate the way he sees himself in terms of strength.
"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!! SCREW IT ALL! I CAN'T EVEN BEAT TWO ADJUCHAS ANYMORE.
A little while later, Ojog rests at the top of a sand dune and thinks about what he should do next.
"I don't know what I should do at this point, I'm.... weaaarrkkrKK or whatever, I need to use someone to get my old self back, but who though.... I could go to Barragan but they're gonna see me as.... an unequal and possibly get executed by him, my only shot is going back to the village and joining the Empire, would he accept me back though?? God.... As much as it pains me, I've got no choice."
Ojog stood up with confidence while holding a fist tightly as he's taking a decision that hurts his ego. Despite that, he travelled back to the village by using his footprints to guide him.
After an hour of backtracking, Ojog finally made it back to the village and immediately went to Eusbio's lab. Ojog saw Guerra and Eusbio discussing their plans for further technological development of armaments on a table while they both lean towards each other at the opposite sides.
"We need this box of metal that can move to protect our troops- glances atOjog*"
Guerra slowly straightened his posture while maintaining eye contact, he spoke, knowing what Ojog has decided to do.
"So, are you in or not?"
Ojog, not letting up the fact that he's seeking for help, says.
"Let's get one thing clear, I'm only here to use you and follow your orders as effortless as possible. Got that?"
Guerra smiles with arrogance in his face and smugly responds to Ojog's intent.
"Very well. I will use your abilities to its fullest extent while you get back your former self. But before I accept you into the Empire's embrace, you must kneel to me, if you don't do so, you will be forced out of this village."
Ojog was twitching in anger, but knowing he has no choice, he ultimately bowed to Guerra. Solidifying his loyalty.
