Rio leaps into the air, striking with all his might, but the beast dodges with lightning-fast speed.
Is it just be or did that beast became faster?
Rio stood still waiting for the beast to attack. The beast let out a roar. Now. The beast attacked Rio with it's giant hand.
Rio quickly jumped on the beast's hand and slashes the hand but the beast quickly throws him away and attacks Rio again.
Rio quickly parried the attack and used it's force to distanced himself from the beast.
"Fuu..."
Now I have to just wait for it to attack.
The beast stays still without moving. Suddenly the floor started to shake violently.
what the f**k? Rio losses balance and falls on the ground. The beast quickly stomps Rio.
Rio rolls way and dodges the attack "I am not going to die so easily" Rio attacks the beast with his dagger and land a clean cut.
The dagger starts emitting a light.
"Now let's see what this dagger can do."
Eh I feel so cring but nobody is here so whatever.
While Rio got distracted the beast attacked him. Rio quickly jumped and quickly slashed the beast and...

The beast's arm now separated from it's body fell on the ground. "Wow!". I didn't know this would happen. Should I thank the shopkeeper? Mmm... no! Rio grined at the thought of thanking the shopkeeper.
"Aghhhrrrr"
The beast attacks Rio. Rio dodges it with ease. Rio quickly slashes it's leg and cuts it clean off.
Rio pulls up the dagger and aimes at the beast's head. "Well I guess that was the last of your will now die peacefully"
*Crack* "Agh!"
Rio's hand starts hurting and he drops the dagger. "Damit! I forgot my arm was broken because of that stupid hand!"
The beast quickly rises up and attaches it's arm and leg back to his body. Well sh*t from when could that thing do that?
The beast comes closer to Rio and rises it's arm. First my arm got broken and now I am about to get crushed what a day it is.
Rio closes his eyes as the arm reaches him.
*Bam*
Huh? I didn't die? Rio opens his eyes.
"Huh? What are you doing here?"
The Shopkeeper was holding the beast's giant arm with both of his arms.
"Ha! I am just a shopkeeper trying to keep his customer alive! And what's wrong about it?"
As the shopkeeper was talking to Rio the beast attacks him and slams him into the wall.
*Slash*
Rio quickly picks up the dagger and cuts the beast's leg and goes to the shopkeeper.
"Hey Shopkeeper! are you okay?"
"Yes of course boy! I am fine when I was your age I could take on the sun!"
What the heck is he talking about? Well I don't think he is as bad as I thought.
"But hey boy you have to pay me for saving your life and it won't be cheap!". Nope he is even worse.
"Hey shopkeeper! stop thinking about that we have bigger problems to face!"
The beast had attached it's leg back and was standing in front of both of them.
Rio looking at the giant beast said,"Should we run?"
"No we can't run away now! That thing has already caught our smell if we run away right now it will start hunting us."
"So what should we do?". Rio even though he looked scared had a smile in his face.
Even though he is in a dangerous situation he isn't crying or shaking but has a smile on his face? Well I think I chose the right person.
With a grin on his face the shopkeeper replied,"Looking at your face boy I think you already know the answer."
"Well yea this is a do or die situation but whatever the result will be I'm sure it will be an experience!"
"Ha! You are sure an interesting person! So let's do this boy"
As the shopkeeper rises up he starts to transform.
The shopkeeper grows bigger with many spikes coming out of his arms and back, and his already long hair grows even bigger and covers his entire face, and his eyes turning even more red.
"Old man you sure got bigger!".
"Don't call me that boy! Just call me thhe shopkeeper and what makes you t hink I am old?". The shopkeeper said angrily.
"Well you talk like one and..."
The beast attacks Rio but Rio was able to dodge it but a sharp pain comes from his arms. Agh! My arm is still hurting.
The shopkeeper punches the beast with great force."Take this you monster!".
Rio quickly comes and slashes the beast's hand off. Well isn't he also a monster? Whatever.
Both Rio and shopkeeper were overwhelming the monster, but suddenly the beast led out a roar which was louder then all the previous screams combined.
Both the shopkeeper and Rio were flung away. "What is that thing trying to do? Make our ears bleed?"
Suddenly the floor starts shaking again but this time harder.
"Huh? This again!"
The shopkeeper with a worried face said,"I think we are in trouble boy"
"Huh? Why?" Rio said with a confused and worried look.
As Rio looks toward the beast he realises it.
Many hands had came out of the walls."Not them again!"
"Ugh! I hate these things!" The shopkeeper said with a distasteful look.
"Hey old man do you about these things?"
"Stop calling me old man or I will join them understand!"
"Okay okay, just tell me the answer!"
"These creatures are the area's deadliest, united by a hive mind that answers to their ruthless queen."
"So they are like a gang? But why are they so dangerous? Are there multiple areas? And mosters?"
"Don't worry boy you will understand it soon but first we should get ready for what is in front of us, you attack the hands while I will handle the beast"
"Okay but I will need answers after this"
Rio and the shopkeeper charge into the battle and clash with the monsters.
Rio leaps and cuts a large group of hands making way for the shopkeeper to attack the beast.
"Nice job boy!"
The shopkeeper bashes himself into the beast. The beast also charges into shopkeeper with immense force. Both of them collide into each and knock back each other.
On the other side Rio was fighting the endless hoard of hands. As Rio was struggling to keep up with the hands his arm starts to hurt again.
Sh*t. The hands start to surround Rio and chock him.
I can't.. die.. like.. this! As Rio was closed his eyes he heard a voice.
"Hey boy! are you going to leave me like this? What about our deal?"
Huh? A deal? Rio suddenly wakes up and cuts all the hand in a quick motion. "What kind of deal are you talking about? You asked for my soul and body for a f**king dagger!"
"Ha! Stop talking about that and help me you ungrateful person!"
"Ugh whatever!" Rio quickly comes and swiftly cuts the beast's hand.
"Now attack the head boy!!" The shopkeeper screams with a tense face holding the other hand of the beast.
"Now die you piece of sh*t!". Rio quickly attacks the head of the beast but suddenly the beast turns back ripping it's arm off.
After which Rio's dagger which was aimed at the head hit the glowing spot in its back. Suddenly a burst of energy was released.
The beast starts to transform. Rio looks at the beast's transformation and with fear and shock says,"F**K!!!"
The beast had transformed into something else it had a human build with his arms and legs turning thinner and his two tentacles turning into horns and a human heart surrounded by a ring of thorns on top of his head like a halo.
"Ah.. At last.. I am myself.. unbounded.. from that wild form.."
"Hey shopkeeper what is that thing?"
The shopkeeper keeping a straight face said,"Well this is his true self boy I had locked it away but at last, it broke free."
But then he suddenly smiled and said,"Don't worry boy! As long we both work together we can turn that thing into a mindless monster again! Just stab the heart above it's head and bam! See it's that simple!"
"Ha! Old man.. giving false hope to everyone again?, You never change.. and that is the reason.. you will die!"
The beast blitzes the shopkeeper and sends him flying away.
*Swish*
I didn't even see that!
"Ah.. and who do we have here?, let me introduce myself.. my name is Torzas.. and what is yours?"
Rio quickly attacks him. But Torzas quickly dodged it and attacks Rio with an invisible blast sending him flying away.
