Chapter 191 - Chapter 191: You’re Also From the Future?

Lancelot carefully observed the two girls before him.

Their attire was something he had never seen before.

One was an orange-haired girl wearing unfamiliar clothing, and while her features were cute, they didn't resemble those of a Celt, a Saxon, or even a Roman her facial structure was even softer. The other was a pink-haired girl holding a shield and clad in extremely light, form-fitting armor.

However, the latter was currently staring at Lancelot with a highly guarded expression.

No, it wasn't just wariness.

It was an emotion difficult to describe.

The orange-haired girl, on the other hand, didn't seem as tense. The moment she saw Lancelot, she excitedly greeted him:

"Sir Lancelot!"

Hearing this, Lancelot furrowed his brows in confusion.

"Do we know each other?" he asked, puzzled.

"Huh?"

The orange-haired girl's smile instantly vanished.

What? He doesn't recognize her?

At that moment, the pink-haired girl stepped in front of her protectively and said solemnly, "Senpai, be careful. This Lancelot isn't a Servant he's a real, living human."

"So?" The orange-haired girl was still confused.

"Lancelot doesn't have any memories of meeting us before," the pink-haired girl added.

Listening to their conversation, Lancelot grew even more bewildered.

What in the world are they talking about?

"When did I ever meet you two?" he asked curiously, addressing these strangers who acted so familiar with him.

"That's something from the future. You'll understand later, Sir Lancelot," the orange-haired girl replied. Then, she introduced herself: "My name is Fujimaru Ritsuka. I'm a Master from Chaldea."

She then gestured to the other girl.

"Her name is Mash. She's also from Chaldea."

"Chaldea? What's that?" Lancelot questioned.

"Chaldea officially known as the Human Order Preservation Organization, Finis Chaldea was established to prevent humanity's extinction…"

Fujimaru Ritsuka briefly explained Chaldea to Lancelot.

But Lancelot didn't pay much attention to the rest. Instead, one thing stood out to him.

He immediately asked, "Don't tell me… you two are also from the future?"

What's going on with the timeline? Why do people keep coming from the future?

This era already had extraordinary figures like Morgan, Lot, Artoria, and Tristan it was competitive enough as it was. But now, people from the future were joining in?

Wasn't that a bit too much?

"Yeah," Fujimaru Ritsuka nodded matter-of-factly.

Then, she suddenly realized something odd.

"Wait, you said 'also'? There are others from the future?"

She stared at Lancelot.

Chaldea's observers had noted that this Singularity was already highly irregular so much so that it barely qualified as a Singularity at all. And now, after arriving here, she learned there were other time travelers?

"Can you tell us who they are?" she pressed urgently.

"You haven't earned my trust yet. I won't tell you."

The matter involving Galahad was still uncertain, but even if he had doubts, he wouldn't recklessly reveal information.

"Hmph."

Hearing this, Mash pouted unhappily.

Seeing her expression, Lancelot grew even more confused.

What's with this attitude?

It was exactly the same as Galahad's reaction when they first met.

Meanwhile, Fujimaru Ritsuka felt she needed to say something. She quickly interjected, "Then, can you take us to see King Arthur? I'm sure once we meet him, we can have a proper conversation."

"King Arthur? Who's that?" Lancelot asked, baffled.

England was currently ruled by only two kings. And while there were plenty of kings in Scotland, none of them were called "King Arthur."

"Huh?!"

The two girls exchanged puzzled glances.

Fujimaru Ritsuka pressed further, "Then, where are we now? Still in France? Did our Rayshift go wrong?"

The only time Lancelot wouldn't know King Arthur was if he hadn't arrived in England yet.

"France? We're in Scotland," Lancelot replied, still confused.

"Scotland?"

Fujimaru Ritsuka thought for a moment, then asked, "Then who is the current ruler of Camelot?"

"Jointly ruled by King Lot and Queen Morgan," Lancelot answered offhandedly.

"What about Artoria?"

"Isn't she the head of the Knights of the Round Table?"

Fujimaru Ritsuka hurriedly pressed for more details about this world's history.

And then

They received an utterly unbelievable answer.

In this timeline, after King Uther's death, the throne was taken not by Artoria, but by Morgan and Lot.

Artoria had pulled the sword from the stone but never became king.

Morgan and Lot were the ones who defeated Vortigern.

They were the ones who unified England.

They had even conquered the Fairy Kingdom and its fairies.

Everything everything that should have been Artoria's achievements had instead been accomplished by Morgan.

What the hell was going on?

Fujimaru Ritsuka's mind went blank.

This was indeed a Singularity

But this was way too singular!

Wasn't Morgan supposed to be a scheming villain in history? How had she become a wise queen and devoted wife here?

And King Lot how had he become a ruler of Camelot?

Wasn't he just an ordinary man in history, only notable for his wife and children?

Yet according to Lancelot, while Lot wasn't exceptionally powerful, his administrative and military skills far surpassed ordinary people's.

This didn't make sense!

Fujimaru Ritsuka glanced at Lancelot and asked, "By the way, if you admire Morgan and Lot so much, why haven't you sworn allegiance to them?"

Hadn't he come to England after hearing of King Uther's fame in France? Now that Morgan and Lot were even more renowned than Artoria, why was he here?

"There's… a misunderstanding between us."

Lancelot's expression darkened further at the question.

Way to hit a sore spot.

At that moment, he decided to test whether these two were truly from the future.

Casually, he said to Fujimaru Ritsuka:

"But if you want to meet Morgan, I can direct you to the Knights of the Round Table's Galahad. He'll help you."

"Galahad?"

Hearing this, Fujimaru Ritsuka instinctively turned to look at Mash beside her.
