Chapter 56 - CHAPTER 55 – UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTER, MOMO AND NANA

*Note: The IA didn't make me a good picture for this chapter. For some reason the IA can't do Momo and Nana at the same time and better not talk about if we add the Omnitrix so instead of an an image of this chapter, I'll make you a spoiler about a girl from other anime who will appear in the future.

Remember that in this an alternative version of this character so she won't have the same "powers" than in the original anime.

One more thing, in this fic, she will me one of the best Mikan's best friends.

With that said, have a good day :)

...

Hearing the loud crash it caused, I grew nervous. What would happen if normal humans realized that something from space had crashed here? They might call the police, and later, people from higher authorities would come to investigate. The entire planet would be thrown into chaos if it turned out to be a spaceship!

"Damn it!" I exclaimed.

I quickly transformed into Jetray and sped off toward the crash site at incredible speed.

Thanks to Jetray's speed, it didn't take long before I arrived. But when I landed, my worst fear was confirmed—it really was a spaceship!

"Who's the idiot who crashed their ship on Earth? Don't they realize what would happen if a normal human saw it?" I muttered nervously.

It would cause chaos on the entire planet! Not necessarily in a bad way, but chaos nonetheless.

"Damn it, I told you to let me handle the landing!" someone shouted.

The ship's hatch opened, and out stepped two very familiar girls—faces I had seen dozens of times in the anime and manga. Beloved by fans (myself included): Nana and Momo.

"I told you I was sorry! What else do you want me to do?" Nana said.

"Never pilot again! You're terrible at it! What if a human had seen us? The whole planet would be in chaos!" Momo scolded.

"Sorry!" Nana muttered.

The truth was, the consequences of a human seeing them would be terrible. And their father's punishment… they didn't even want to imagine it. He had made it clear: humans must not know about the existence of extraterrestrial life until they developed the means to travel between planets in minutes or hours. Only then would they be ready for the truth.

Momo was about to continue when her gaze fell on me.

"Shit, a human! What do we do now?" Momo said nervously.

Their greatest fear had come true—a human had witnessed their landing! This was a disaster!

"It's just a human. We can knock him out and leave him on a bench or something. When he wakes up, he'll probably think it was all a dream," Nana suggested.

"A pretty bad idea… but it might work," Momo admitted.

It was their only option. Either that, or kidnap me, since harming me—or worse, killing me—was completely forbidden.

"Haa… relax. I already know about the existence of aliens," I sighed.

Seriously? They wanted to knock me out? What a way to meet Lala's sisters—my future wives.

"Really? And how can we believe you?" Momo asked, raising a brow.

"If I didn't know about aliens, would I really be standing here talking to you so calmly?" I replied.

Momo considered this and nodded. But then her gaze focused on my face. She frowned, then widened her eyes in shock.

"I don't believe it!" Momo exclaimed.

"You're Akira Sato!" Nana shouted.

Earlier, they hadn't realized because they were so nervous. But now, looking closely, they recognized me. I was Akira Sato, their sister's fiancé and future king of the galaxy.

"You know me?" I asked, feigning ignorance.

Lala had only told me she had two sisters, not their names or appearances. If I admitted to knowing them and they later mentioned it to Lala, she might get suspicious. Better to play dumb, just in case.

"Of course we know you—you're our sister's fiancé!" Nana said.

"Then you must be Lala's sisters. Yes, she told me she had two, but never mentioned your names," I said.

"I'm Momo, and the grumpy one there is Nana. Pleasure to meet you," Momo said.

Momo studied me carefully, though no one could tell what she was thinking.

"You're the grumpy one!" Nana retorted, frowning.

"She's always like this, you'll get used to it," Momo said.

"Hmph!" Nana huffed.

Nana was what the Japanese call a "tsundere," though neither she nor Momo knew enough about human culture to recognize it.

"It's a pleasure to meet you both. I'd like to introduce myself, but it seems you already know who I am. So… why don't you come to my house? I'm sure Lala will be thrilled to see you," I suggested.

First step: invite them home.

"Yes, that was our plan in the first place. So if you don't mind, we'd love to visit your house and see our sister," Momo said politely.

"Of course I don't mind. But… what about the spaceship? If you leave it here, a human could see it," I pointed out.

The ship looked intact despite the crash, but it couldn't remain visible. If a human stumbled upon it, it would be a disaster.

"You're right, I almost forgot," Momo said.

She went back inside the ship and carefully moved it into the bushes without damaging anything.

Then, the ship began turning invisible as Momo stepped out.

"With this, as long as I'm near, I can deactivate the invisibility and track its position," Momo explained.

She showed me what looked like a tiny smartphone with a small screen.

"Let's stop wasting time and go see my sister. I can't wait to see her," Nana said.

This girl was… impatient.

"Don't be rude, Nana. We're going to someone else's house, so we should be polite," Momo reminded her.

"We're going to our sister's fiancé's house! Do I really need to be polite?" Nana shot back.

She had a point… but what harm was there in showing some manners?

"Yes, you do," Momo insisted.

"…Fine," Nana muttered.

I guided them to my house and stepped inside.

"You're finally back! I was starting to worry," Lala said.

"Sorry for the delay, but I ran into two people who were eager to see you, so I got held up," I explained.

"Eh? Who are you talking about?" Lala asked, confused.

She had been washing dishes, but when she heard that, she stopped, dried her hands, and turned—only to see me with Momo and Nana. Her face lit up with joy.

"Nana, Momo! I'm so happy to see you!" Lala exclaimed.

She rushed forward and hugged her sisters tightly.

"We missed you too," Nana said.

"That's why we came," Momo added.

While the sisters embraced, I moved to Yami's side.

"Where did you find them?" Yami asked.

"On my way back from buying milk, their ship crashed in the usual forest," I explained.

"And you went to check? What if it had been an assassin?" Yami asked, frowning.

"Uh… I didn't think, I just acted," I admitted.

She was right. This time it was Momo and Nana, but if it happened again, it could be something dangerous. Even if I wasn't afraid, caution was necessary.

"Fine, but be more careful next time," Yami said.

What would she do if something happened to me? Yami didn't even want to think about it. Now that she was happy, now that she'd left behind her depressing life, she didn't want to go back.

"I will," I nodded.

The sisters embraced for a while longer, then finally pulled apart after chatting.

"By the way, this is Akira, my fiancé. Though I don't think introductions are needed," Lala said.

"No, no need—we already met," Momo replied.

"Yes, besides, the entire galaxy knows who he is by now," Nana added.

But when they looked at the girl standing next to me, Momo and Nana froze in shock. For several seconds, they couldn't believe it.

"It's Konjiki no Yami!" Nana exclaimed.

"What's she doing here?" Momo asked nervously.

The infamous Konjiki no Yami stood before them. How had they not noticed her before?

"Relax. Yami is no longer an assassin. She's just a normal girl now—and my fiancée," I said.

"WHAT?!" they both shouted.

Immediately, they turned to their sister.

"It's true! Yami is part of the family now. She's left her assassin life behind and is simply Akira's fiancée," Lala confirmed.

For a moment, Momo and Nana were speechless, as if their brains had shut down. Konjiki no Yami—the cold, ruthless assassin—was now their sister's fiancé's concubine?

"I… it's a pleasure to meet you both. While I was once Konjiki no Yami, now I'm just Yami, and I am Akira's fiancée," Yami said.

Though embarrassed, it was the truth. She was Akira's fiancée and his future concubine. No one could take that position from her.

"I… I don't know what to say," Nana stammered.

"This is too shocking…" Momo admitted.

Even she, who always had a response, was left speechless. But could you blame her? Yami was famous across the galaxy for avoiding social interaction. Yet here she was, standing in front of them, acting completely different—just a shy, normal girl.

"A lot has happened. Sit down and let me tell you everything…" Lala said.

Nana and Momo nodded and sat down. We recounted everything that had happened—though Yami, as always, stayed silent.

"Incredible. So much has happened since you came to this planet…" Nana said, amazed.

The story was brief but beautiful—the dream of any maiden searching for her prince, a dream few ever experienced.

"…It's decided," Momo suddenly declared.

We all looked at her in confusion.

"What did you decide?" Nana asked.

"We're going to live here from now on!" Momo announced.

Silence filled the house.

"Are you serious?!" Nana exclaimed.

"Completely," Momo nodded.

"That's wonderful!" Lala said happily.

If her sisters stayed with her, it would be fantastic. Plus, they'd get to know Akira better.

"I agree. The more, the merrier," I said.

"I'll respect Akira's decision," Yami added.

Second stage of the plan—cleared effortlessly.

"Then it's settled," Momo said.

"And what about my opinion? Doesn't it matter?" Nana protested.

"Don't you want to live with our sister?" Momo asked.

"I-it's not that, but…" Nana hesitated.

She glanced at me briefly, though everyone noticed.

"If that's what worries you, don't. I'm not some pervert or anything," I reassured her.

"That's right, Akira isn't a pervert," Lala confirmed.

"He isn't," Yami added.

If Akira had been, she wouldn't have fallen in love with him. Even now, Yami still despised perverts.

{Note: having sex doesn't make you a pervert.}

"See? Akira isn't a pervert. Even our sister says so. So what's wrong with living with him?" Momo said.

"…Fine," Nana muttered.

But inside, Momo was smiling. She had planned this from the moment she first saw Akira.

Momo was clever. She knew that if they stayed with their father, eventually they'd be forced to choose a fiancé and marry some disgusting noble from the countless suitors. But… what if they married their sister's fiancé instead? Everything would be different.

Her sister was also smart—she would never choose someone unworthy as her fiancé. If Akira was good enough for Lala, then he was extraordinary. So Momo thought: wouldn't it be better to marry Akira than some unknown noble? That's why she planned from the beginning to stay and live with him.

She had two reasons: first, she didn't want to go back home and face their father choosing their fiancés. And second, to make sure both she and Nana fell for Akira—so marrying him wouldn't be an obligation, but rather a dream come true.
