Chapter 292 - Chapter 293: The Real Nash

"Smack!"

After a fake, Nash wrapped the ball behind his back to change direction.

Tendou's eyes sharpened, immediately turning with his right foot as the pivot, but he was still half a beat too slow as Nash passed by him.

Aomine was first to help defend, but Nash got past him in almost a single step.

Wildness only provided the ability to struggle before the Demon Eye. And struggling didn't mean being able to truly contend with it.

Too strong! People felt like Nash was crossing an empty street in the early morning. And his opponent was still the Generation of Miracles ace, Aomine Daiki.

Nash killed all the way to the paint and quickly jumped. Suddenly, a pitch-black monster immediately rose from the ground, blocking the front of the rim.

Nash knew - Tendou had arrived. Sure enough, Tendou's figure quickly replaced the monster, positioned between the rim and Nash.

Nash was forced to complete his finish with a difficult shot. The moment Tendou's arm came down, his body suddenly leaned backward.

"Got it!"

"Not yet!"

Tendou's gaze was blazing, his azure eyes already seeing a golden light entering their battle.

"Smack!"

Sure enough, the next second Kise's figure rapidly rose, heavily swatting Nash's shot away.

"Now it's two against one, uncle."

Damn!

Nash cursed internally. Dealing with that blonde guy wouldn't be difficult for Nash. The problem was he couldn't simultaneously handle both Tendou and Kise.

One-on-one, he wouldn't consider Kise worth his attention, but the current Kise indeed had the ability to participate in confrontations at his and Tendou's level. This was too troublesome.

The basketball heavily hit the floor and bounced. Aomine was closest and grabbed the ball first, immediately starting to sprint.

Evil Dragons' Allen and Zack saw this and immediately surrounded him, forcing Aomine to stop and disrupting the opponent's fast break.

"Over here, Aomine." Tendou had already landed and was running out quickly.

Hearing this, Aomine didn't even look and immediately whipped the ball over. He had absolute trust in Tendou!

Dragon Slayer Sword's counterattack began. Nash stayed close to Tendou, but couldn't worry about Kise on the other side.

The two had perfect coordination. Kise naturally positioned himself left and right with Tendou, maximizing the team's offensive spacing.

"Step!"

"Step!"

Tendou and Nash successively arrived at the right side of the three-point line.

Then Tendou suddenly turned and backed into Nash, creating a bit of space, and once again sent the ball to the cutting Kise.

"Bang!" This time, Kise's dunk was finally completed. With Tendou occupying Nash, the other Evil Dragons couldn't stop him.

The gap had been stretched to 9 points, just one step away from double digits.

"Damn bastards." Nash's gaze swept over his teammates, ice-cold.

So far, not one of his teammates' performances had satisfied him. "Just a bunch of wild dogs after all."

Nash was different from the other Evil Dragons - he was a player who had come up through orthodox high school leagues. He had received the most orthodox basketball education from childhood.

It took him three years to be rated as a five-star high school player by ESPN, then get recruited by powerhouse UC. If nothing unexpected happened, according to people's expectations, he would train for a year or two in college then naturally enter the NBA, ascending to the world's greatest basketball stage.

So in his heart, Nash really looked down on these Evil Dragons players - they weren't much different from street thugs. Yet even these monkeys couldn't solve the problem, which greatly disappointed him.

A 9-point deficit! He could see that the blonde's condition wouldn't last much longer. In just a few minutes his stamina would be exhausted.

But the current situation didn't allow him to quietly wait for that golden retriever to self-destruct. Who knew how far the gap would be stretched in a few minutes? 15 points? Or 20 points?

He couldn't wait any longer! After taking the ball from his teammate, Nash's eyes became exceptionally sharp and fierce.

If possible, he really didn't want to play basketball this way. But now he had no choice!

Evil Dragons' offense. Nash dribbled the ball over step by step, taking a deep look at Tendou.

The next second, Nash began to explode without warning.

"What?!" Almost the instant Nash started, Aida Kagetora's eyes widened.

This wasn't the Nash they were familiar with. Completely different from the person a week ago.

No flashy dribbling and breakthroughs, no longer pursuing humiliation of opponents - his playing style was plain and unremarkable. All his actions returned to basketball's most primitive form - the most utilitarian yet most effective orthodox basketball style.

This transformation made his movements increasingly sharp, with a flavor of returning to simplicity. He was like a sharp blade, breaking past half of Tendou's body in one breath.

"Could this be Nash's true face?" Hyuga Junpei's pupils couldn't help but tremble behind his glasses.

Momoi also shared the intelligence she had gathered with them. "A few months ago, Nash was still the starting point guard at UC, a powerhouse American university."

"But after playing a few scrimmages, he suddenly disappeared and left the college scene." Momoi didn't know the specific reason either.

However, judging from Nash's terrible stats in those few scrimmages, Nash might have been unable to accept the huge psychological gap and temporarily chose to leave.

"So this is Nash's most skilled style?" Akashi frowned. This joke was too big!

On court, Tendou had already expected this. He snorted and mocked, "Not doing acrobatics anymore?"

Nash similarly snorted in response without words, accelerating past him.

"Don't think you're getting through!" Kise still wanted to cooperate with Tendou to stop Nash.

Currently on the team, only he and Tendou could keep up with Nash's rhythm. However, Nash only needed two quick changes of direction to shake him down to the ground.

"What a monster!" Everyone was stunned. Such a powerful Kise, using all his stamina for five minutes at his peak, yet he still wasn't Nash's match.

"Get lost, monkey!" He showed no respect for Tendou's teammates.

Coldly glancing at Kise on the ground, Nash flashed past him, then got by Kagami and quickly took flight in the paint.

"It's not over yet, Nash." As Tendou's voice rang out, Nash's Demon Eye once again saw Tendou's figure killing over at extreme speed, giving him maximum interference at the crucial moment.

Nash flicked his wrist and quickly shot the ball.

"Swish!"

The ball went in, but Nash felt no happiness at all.

He had made this shot, but Tendou had once again kept up with his game rhythm! If he had been hiding his abilities, could this guy have been holding back from the beginning until now too?

He had guessed correctly - Tendou was now breaking through the 80% limit, activating his body's potential to 90%!
