Chapter 63 - Chapter 62 - We Must Form an Astral Express Crew for a Lifetime! (Beginning)

"Huh?! There's a queue for this?"

March 7th stood dumbfounded at the door, but Xing simply reached out and yanked her inside.

"Hey, hey, hey, slow down, Xing!"

March 7th stumbled. By the time Xing had closed the door behind them, she looked up and was surprised to find Bronya also in Fu Zhu's room, wearing a somewhat out-of-place leather coat. Peeking through the gaps, she could faintly see the silk hem of pajamas underneath the coat.

"What... what's going on?" March 7th was a little bewildered. She had come to apologize to Fu Zhu, so what were Xing and Bronya doing here?

Fu Zhu looked at the three girls positioned in a triangle and couldn't help but sigh, face in his palm.

If only one of them had shown up at his door, Fu Zhu might have thought his romantic luck had finally arrived. But with all three of them here at once... there was no way any kind of romantic event could happen.

A pity.

"So, what do you all want from me?"

Fu Zhu didn't leave the three girls standing. He had them sit on the long sofa in the guest room, while he sat on the single armchair opposite them, his eyes fixed on the trio.

It had to be said, having three beautiful young ladies of different charms sitting before you in the middle of the night was a very pleasant sight—especially since all three were in their pajamas!

Faced with Fu Zhu's blatant, intensely aggressive gaze, March 7th and Bronya shrank back nervously. Only Xing, seated between them, remained completely composed.

Hearing Fu Zhu's question, Xing was the first to raise her hand. "Coach! I want to learn Redstone technology!"

Fu Zhu glanced at her, then pulled a stack of Redstone dust from his inventory and placed it on the table in front of her.

Fortunately, a stack of Redstone dust wasn't very heavy, so he didn't have to worry about Xing being unable to carry it.

"This is Redstone dust. Alright, you can go play now."

Xing picked up the Redstone dust and asked, looking baffled, "What about the technique? How do I use this stuff?"

"Use it however you want. Redstone technology is all about freedom. What it can do depends entirely on your imagination. Alright, next!"

March 7th and Bronya glanced at each other. Both felt that it would be a little awkward to state their purpose with so many people around, so they began pushing the responsibility to one another.

"Bronya, you go."

"It's alright, March, you first..."

Fu Zhu crossed his arms, feeling speechless. With so many people here tonight, it was impossible for anything to happen. He might as well get this over with so he could be alone and browse the MOD store, pick out a MOD to strengthen himself.

After another moment of mutual deferral, March 7th and Bronya finally decided to go in the order they arrived.

Bronya nervously smoothed out the wrinkles on her clothes, then cautiously lifted her head to peek at the expression on Fu Zhu's face.

"Fu Zhu... may I ask what kind of person or things you like?"

This should be a safe way to ask, right? Even if Fu Zhu isn't interested in her, or in Belobog, she can still repay him with material things.

Xing, who had been studying the Redstone dust, immediately looked up when she heard Bronya's question. Her expression changed, and her ears perked up to listen intently.

Hearing the question, Fu Zhu's expression grew a little strange, his brow gradually furrowing.

"Is my XP that weird in your eyes? If I have a choice, I'd still prefer to like a pretty girl."

"Ah... no, that's not what I meant..."

"Then what did you mean?"

"This... Let's just say I never asked."

Bronya's spirits immediately deflated. This was a mission half-pushed on her by her mother. After failing to ask her question properly twice now, she had completely lost her courage.

Fu Zhu found it a bit strange, but since Bronya wouldn't continue, he didn't press her further. Instead, he turned his gaze to March 7th.

"And you, Little March?"

"Me?" March 7th had now recovered her usual composure. She said with sincerity and earnestness, "I came to apologize to you. I'm sorry for calling you... a pervert and all that during the day."

The moment March 7th finished speaking, Xing stared at her with a peculiar expression.

You came all the way here at night, in your pajamas, just to apologize to my old bro?!

The question Bronya asked was already suspicious enough, but you're just here to apologize?!

Little March, I am so disappointed in you! I really thought you had what it takes to become my sister-in-law!

"Xing? Why are you looking at me like that?" March 7th noticed the odd look in Xing's eyes. Although she couldn't quite read what she was thinking, she had a feeling it was something very rude.

"It's nothing." Xing shook her head, then reached out and grabbed both of March 7th's hands, her expression serious.

"Little March, you absolutely must form an Astral Express crew with my brother for life!"

"Huh?" March 7th was a little confused, not understanding why Xing would suddenly say such a thing, but she still nodded along with her.

"Mm, if Fu Zhu is willing."

After getting March 7th's answer, Xing turned with satisfaction and shot a provocative glance at Bronya.

Compared to Belobog, she much preferred the Astral Express crew. She had no desire to settle down on Jarilo-VI with her old bro in the future!

Bronya seemed to understand the meaning in Xing's eyes. A little embarrassed and amused, she stood up to take her leave.

"Well then, I'll be going now. See you tomorrow, Fu Zhu."

With Bronya gone, March 7th and Xing naturally didn't linger in Fu Zhu's room much longer.

Although Xing really wanted to stay and learn Redstone technology from Fu Zhu, she was forcefully dragged away by March 7th, who insisted that a girl shouldn't spend the night in a boy's room.

Fu Zhu closed the door and sighed with some disappointment.

"When will a plotline where someone comes to my room alone ever happen?"

The next second, there was a knock on Fu Zhu's door. His eyebrows shot up as he opened it.

Standing at the door was Dan Heng, dressed in his regular clothes. Seeing the door open, he gave Fu Zhu a deadpan nod.

"Fu Zhu..."

Before he could finish, the door slammed shut with a click.

Standing at the door, Dan Heng fell silent for a long while before shaking his head with a helpless sigh.

"He must be exhausted. I'll wait until Welt and the others get here tomorrow to ask him about the state of the Stellaron."

In the end, Fu Zhu didn't actually shut Dan Heng out. He reopened the door and let him in.

"It's so late. Are you just here to check on the Stellaron's condition?" Fu Zhu asked with a helpless sigh. That said, at least Dan Heng was here on proper business, unlike March 7th and Bronya.

"Mm, after all, the Stellaron is extremely dangerous."

"If it's about that, then you don't have to worry at all."

Fu Zhu took the Stellaron out of his inventory and presented it in his palm for Dan Heng to see.

No matter how one looked at it, the Stellaron lying in Fu Zhu's palm was perfectly stable, just like the one inside Xing's body.

Dan Heng observed it for a good while before looking up at Fu Zhu with some bewilderment.

"How did you do it? Don't tell me you and Xing are really blood siblings? The Stellaron becomes so stable in the hands of you two... It's unbelievable."
