Chapter 342 - Chapter 340 - March 7th Frozen in Ice

On a cliff somewhere outside the intersection of fate, after Fu Zhu had dealt with the pursuers, he followed the traces left by Tribios all the way here. As soon as he walked over, he saw that red and white figure standing on the edge of the cliff.

"Tribios."

Tribios turned around at the sound of his voice. Seeing it was Fu Zhu, a smile involuntarily appeared on her face.

"It's great that you're alright. You aren't hurt, are you?"

Fu Zhu walked up to her, stopped, and shook his head.

"I'm fine, it was just some pursuers. What do you plan to do next?"

Tribios turned back around, gazing into the ten-thousand-foot abyss before her.

"Just as I said before, I must depart. I want to open up thousands of paths for this world."

Fu Zhu's expression was somewhat complex. His relationship with Tribios couldn't be called great, but she counted as an acquaintance. Watching someone jump alive into a deep abyss to be crushed to pieces... it was somewhat unpleasant.

"Must you do this?"

With her back to him, Tribios let out a desolate chuckle.

"Perhaps there are better ways, but this is the steadiest method I can achieve. You shouldn't stop me, right?"

Fu Zhu fell silent, then shrugged his shoulders.

"I have only met you a few times. If you want to court death, I have no reason to stop you."

"Thank you."

Tribios offered her sincere thanks, then raised her head to look at the thick clouds in the sky. A clear tear slid from the corner of her eye.

She was still scared, after all.

"But, Mother, I am setting off. Let us meet again at the end of the floral breeze!"

Tribios raised her hand to wipe away the tears with the back of her hand. With her hands behind her back, she turned around, smiling like a flower as she looked at Fu Zhu.

"At the very end, could you tell me your name? In the future, if there is a chance to meet again, I will properly thank you then."

Fu Zhu nodded and gave his name.

"Astral Express, Fu Zhu."

"Mhm, I've noted it down." Tribios took a deep breath. Just as she was about to turn around, she remembered a sentence, then turned back and spoke to Fu Zhu again.

"By the way, although I don't know if this is useful to you, I'll tell you anyway. When I accepted the Tinder, [Gateway] Titan Janus told me a prophecy: 'The multitude shall separate from one; only that person shall witness the miracle'."

"The multitude... only that person..."

Although he couldn't completely penetrate what this prophecy was trying to express, what he could be certain of was that this absolutely related to the 'Journey of Chasing Fire' mentioned by Elio. And 'the multitude' likely referred to the twelve people who accepted the Tinder of the Twelve Titans.

"Mhm, I've noted it down. It's very helpful to me. Thank you, Tribios."

"It's good that I could help you."

Tribios heard Fu Zhu's words and laughed very happily, then waved her hand at him.

"Well then, I'm setting off."

Tribios turned around, took a deep breath, and took the final step toward the abyss.

Fu Zhu walked to the edge of the cliff and watched as that white figure fell rapidly. While in mid-air, the figure was wrapped in golden light, then quickly split into a thousand tiny balls of light that tumbled toward the bottom of the deep abyss.

And on the minimap, the original icon for Tribios disappeared, replaced by another thousand icons.

[Gateway Semigod · Tribbie], [Gateway Semigod · Trinnon], [Gateway Semigod · Trianne], [Gateway Semigod · Triya]......

"I hope you can succeed, Tribios."

Fu Zhu sighed softly, then pulled Iron Blocks and a Pumpkin from his backpack, rapidly summoning an Iron Golem in front of him.

At the moment the Iron Golem appeared, Fu Zhu could feel Qlipoth casting His gaze here. The Iron Golem's power began to rise steadily, until it was close to that of the Iron Golem on the train, before gradually stopping. Its eyes also became much more spirited.

To prevent any accidents from happening to Tribios, he needed to arrange for the Iron Golem to help out.

"Iron Golem, do me a favor. Deliver this letter to my future companions."

Fu Zhu rewrote the letter he had previously given to Tribios into a new copy and gave it to the Iron Golem, then patted its thick, sturdy arm.

"Protect yourself, then take this letter to the future to find Xing and Dan Heng."

The Iron Golem nodded silently, carefully stored the letter within the crevices of its own body, then turned and left.

Fu Zhu watched the Iron Golem leave, took out [Yamato], cut open a spatial tunnel in front of himself, and walked in.[6]

Not long after Fu Zhu left, Lagus appeared in his original position.

"Hmm? He just left?"

Lagus was somewhat surprised. The Authority System detected that this man had already left Amphoreus.

"When did Amphoreus become a public toilet? Come as he likes, leave as he likes?"

"But it's good. At least there's one less uncontrollable variable. I hope this man won't come back again."

........

On the Astral Express, Himeko and Welt were currently anxious, constantly using their phones to try and contact the trio of Fu Zhu and the others. They had originally intended to ask if the three had landed safely, but the result was that they couldn't reach a single one of them.

And Little March... something had gone wrong with her too. This made them unable to help but worry about the three who had headed to Amphoreus.

And right at this moment, a spatial tunnel suddenly opened, and Fu Zhu walked out from within.

"Fu Zhu!"

Himeko and Welt immediately walked over upon seeing Fu Zhu appear. Himeko grabbed Fu Zhu's arm and asked urgently, "Fu Zhu, are Xing and the others okay?"

Fu Zhu sighed. "I was just about to talk about this. I accidentally went to Amphoreus's past and got separated from Xing and the others. But Himeko, you don't need to worry too much. Both of them have [Totems of Undying], they won't die."[6]

Himeko breathed a sigh of relief hearing Fu Zhu say this, but she was still somewhat confused about what Fu Zhu meant by 'the past'.

"You said you went to Amphoreus's past? How do you know?"

Fu Zhu told the two of them about Elio's prophecy and explained once through why he hadn't said it at the very beginning.

After listening, Welt pushed up the glasses on the bridge of his nose.

"You were right to do so. If we knew from the start that this kind of thing would happen, we would inevitably try to change it. Since you want to follow the prophecy, this is the best decision. However, regarding that line of prophecy about Little March... it's hard to say..."

Seeing Welt mention March 7th, Fu Zhu's heart instantly tightened.

"Did something happen to March?"

Himeko and Welt looked at each other. Their expressions didn't look too good; the latter even sighed.

"Come over and take a look, and you'll know."

Welt led Fu Zhu to March 7th's room. As soon as the door was pushed open, a biting chill impatiently surged out.

Fu Zhu took one look and saw March 7th on the bed, sealed in Six-Phased Ice.

"March?!"
