Chapter 94 - Chapter 94: So Why Not Use the Chen Ge Pot?

Thinking about the possibilities, Violet looked at Fukaros with a dazed expression. He was deeply grateful to her—she was both a friend and a benefactor who had guided him when he was lost. However, the realization that she wanted to use him struck a nerve.

"Violet, you shouldn't feel dissatisfied. After all, in Fukaros's plan, she intends to sacrifice herself to complete you, making you a true and complete dragon!" Smith said meaningfully.

Violet's pupils shrank suddenly. He understood what that meant. A portion of the Water God's power originally belonged to him, but it was taken by the laws of nature and given to the Water God. He never imagined Fukaros would be willing to sacrifice herself to restore that power to him. Even if it was part of a plan, it was undoubtedly a tremendous gain for Violet.

"Hey, hey, don't say such things!" Fukaros immediately looked toward Sky Island with a vigilant expression, her eyes pleading.

If Sky Island caught wind of her plan, all of Fontaine would be doomed.

"Relax, it's asleep for now," Smith said cryptically.

In truth, there was one thing that intrigued Smith: was Fukaros's plan—her willingness to sacrifice herself and shatter the godhead—also part of fate? If it was, then what was Sky Island's stance on it?

That thought sent a chill down his spine.

"If I hadn't appeared, you would have gone through with your sacrifice. While Fontaine would suffer some losses, it would ultimately survive," Smith continued, making another shocking statement.

Violet turned to look at Fukaros. Sacrifice?

If there was another way, Violet did not want Fukaros to make such a drastic decision. Shattering the godhead was too reckless.

Had she considered how Sky Island would react when they realized the Water God was completely gone? Even if he became a perfect dragon, he doubted he could hold off the full force of Sky Island alone.

Fukaros's actions were shortsighted. Sooner or later, disaster would strike.

"But I don't want to see that future. Instead, I want to invite you to join my plan," Smith proposed.

"Your plan?" Fukaros frowned, not understanding his intentions.

Wasn't sacrificing herself the best course of action? Fontaine would be safe, and Violet would be whole. Wasn't that a perfect outcome?

"Teyvat is in grave danger—not just from the threat above. The real crisis lies within the Abyss. You both understand this, don't you?" Smith asked.

Both Fukaros and Violet nodded slowly. They saw Sky Island as an enemy, yet they had to acknowledge that, in a way, it was also protecting Teyvat—even if it was doing so out of obligation rather than kindness.

"I want you both to join my plan—to join my guild. In return, I'll help you solve your current predicament in the future."

Violet frowned and, after a long silence, asked, "If I'm not mistaken, you are Smith, the rumored Fifth Descender?"

"Sharp as ever, Violet!" Smith chuckled. "I have the ability to transport people to other worlds, and I can grant them powers from those realms. On Teyvat, that being may seem invincible, but in other worlds, its power is unimpressive.

"If one day you gain enough strength, do you still need to worry about fate's prophecy?"

Fukaros fell silent. She had spent so long trying to outmaneuver fate, but in her mind, it was an unshakable force. However, Smith's words gave her pause. Should she join him?

What would the laws of nature think of her then? Would she be adding to her sins?

To her surprise, Violet was the first to respond. "Alright, I'll join."

"Ding! Welcome, Violet, to the Dimensional Guild."

A flood of information entered Violet's mind. As he processed it, he realized the guild might not directly benefit him—at least not immediately. He hadn't yet seen a way to truly defeat Sky Island.

But for Fontaine—and for all of Teyvat—this was an opportunity.

Each world was different. Perhaps, in another world, he could finally find a way to become a true, complete dragon.

He nodded slightly at Fukaros. If there was a chance to prevent her from sacrificing herself, he would take it. This was her chance as well.

"Fine, then I'll join too," Fukaros sighed.

Violet was crucial to her plan. If he left, sacrificing herself would be meaningless.

Fukaros looked at Smith seriously. "Alright, I'll join—but if I still see no hope when the prophecy comes to pass, I will go through with my plan. I hope you won't stop me."

"Agreed," Smith said without hesitation.

A flood? That wasn't a problem. He would simply use the Chen Ge Pot to store all the people of Fontaine, then have Funina cry.

If Fukaros's plan could be executed, why couldn't his? Did she not know that Liyue possessed the Chen Ge Pot?

Oh, right. The Traveler was useless!

"Ding! Welcome, Fukaros, to the Dimensional Guild."

"I'll be inviting Funina to join as well. Given her personality, she has great potential. Plus, I need Fontaine's Steam Bird News for something," Smith added.
