"Ding! Welcome, Diluk, to the Dimension Guild!"
Smith had the ability to invite people into the Dimension Guild, but there was a catch—only those who truly wished to join in their hearts could become members. If someone agreed on the surface but harbored doubts deep inside, the guild would reject them automatically.
As Diluk absorbed the flood of guild-related information, he was momentarily stunned. Liyue's Tianquan Star Ningguang, Yuheng Star Keqing, Seven Star Advisor Smith, Seven Star Secretary Ganyu—these were all powerful figures. But what truly surprised him was the presence of Funina, who seemed to be the Water God of Fontaine. Even the Supreme Judge Villette was here.
Smith, now a senior executive of Liyue, had successfully brought together people from multiple nations. Diluk couldn't help but wonder—was the Rock King Emperor also part of this secretive group? The realization that Liyue and Fontaine had formed an alliance in the shadows filled him with excitement. With their support, perhaps it wasn't impossible to take on the Fatui and eliminate the Doctor.
"Remember to keep the guild's existence a secret," Smith warned. "Especially after 9 PM. There are things that need to remain hidden. Let that guy come to me when he's ready."
Diluk nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. He then turned his attention to the guild's marketplace. At the moment, it only displayed one item—the Eye of God, priced at 500 points. He had no idea how difficult it would be to earn those points, but the description alone intrigued him. If even an Original God could acquire an additional Eye of God, the possibilities were endless.
He had experience using the Evil Eye, so he understood the immense power an extra Eye of God could provide. Several Fatui executives wielded both an Eye of God and an Evil Eye simultaneously. If he could also obtain two Eyes of God, perhaps he'd have a real chance at standing against them.
"Understood, President!" Diluk responded with newfound determination. He wanted to ask Smith how to earn points but decided against it. Just being part of this guild was already an incredible opportunity.
Having access to Fontaine's God was something beyond his wildest dreams. The possibilities didn't end there—he could even use this as a business opportunity. Dawn Winery's wine was extremely popular in Fontaine, but storage and transportation issues limited its trade. If he could establish a partnership with Funina and others, perhaps he could open a direct trade route.
However, something puzzled him. Why were there two members named Funina and Fukalos in the guild? Wasn't Fukalos the divine name of Funina?
Smith sighed. "Too bad that guy didn't come to me directly."
Diluk's eyes flickered with interest. Was Smith referring to Barbatos, the Anemo Archon? He was eager to learn more about the deity's current situation.
"Your Sweet Flower Stuffed Chicken should be ready. I'll bring it over," Diluk said, setting aside his thoughts for the moment.
"Thanks, I appreciate it."
A short while later, Diluk returned with a plate of steaming hot Sweet Flower Stuffed Chicken. The aroma was mouthwatering. It was one of Mondstadt's most beloved delicacies.
Smith took a bite and nodded approvingly. "This is really good. It's on par with dishes from top restaurants."
"Angel's Gift is the best tavern in Mondstadt. As such, both our drinks and our food must be of the highest quality. I hire my chefs at a premium—at least 20% more than other establishments. On top of that, the chickens are fed Sweet Flowers from birth and occasionally drink nectar from Crystalflies. No other restaurant can match the quality of our Sweet Flower Stuffed Chicken."
Diluk sighed, frustration evident in his voice. "Unfortunately, many Mondstadters don't truly appreciate what they have. They prioritize alcohol over food. Apple wine is so much cheaper than Dandelion Wine, yet they'll always choose the latter."
Smith chuckled. "Well, considering that a single Sweet Flower Stuffed Chicken costs over 6,000 Mora, I can see why people would rather spend that money on drinks. But for someone like me, this meal is worth every coin. Actually, you should consider opening a bar."
Diluk raised an eyebrow. "A bar? Isn't Angel's Gift already a tavern?"
Smith grinned and began explaining the concept of bars and nightclubs from other worlds. He detailed how they worked, the kind of atmosphere they created, and the profits they could generate.
Diluk listened, stunned by the idea. "Are taverns in other worlds really this… extravagant?"
He pondered the concept carefully. If implemented correctly, it could be a massive success. At Angel's Gift, a single bottle of wine sold for around 1,000 to 2,000 Mora. But in a high-end nightclub-style setting, he could charge at least ten times that amount.
Moreover, it wasn't uncommon for wealthy patrons to spend hundreds of thousands of Mora in one night. If he could create such an establishment, it might become the most profitable business in all of Mondstadt. Of course, he'd need to make adjustments—perhaps hiring an alchemist to craft the right atmosphere and lighting.
The more he thought about it, the more excited he became.
"Thank you, Smith!" Diluk said, taking a deep breath. "If I open this bar, I'll give you a 20% share. It's not much, but I hope you don't mind."
This decision came after careful calculation. Some might argue that Smith deserved at least 50% since the idea was his. However, Diluk would be handling all the expenses, logistics, and management. Smith only needed to sit back and collect profits. 20% was already a generous offer.
Of course, if Smith demanded more, Diluk was willing to negotiate. But increasing Smith's share too much would mean losing a substantial portion of his earnings.
Smith shrugged, tearing off a chicken wing and enjoying another bite. "Do as you see fit."
He then took a sip of his drink, frowning slightly. "I wish I had the power of the Cryo Archon. Warm cola just doesn't hit the same way as a chilled one."
After finishing his meal, Smith placed a handful of Mora on the table. "This was a great meal."
Diluk quickly waved his hand. "President, there's no need for you to pay. From now on, whenever you dine at Angel's Gift, everything will be on my tab."
Though he knew Smith likely didn't care about the cost, Diluk wanted to maintain a proper attitude. Respect and gratitude were important.
This was similar to how he treated Venti—Mondstadt's Anemo Archon in disguise. Though Diluk often voiced his annoyance at Venti's drinking habits, he still allowed him to buy drinks on credit. Of course, he never outright treated Venti, because if he did, the carefree bard might never step foot in the tavern again.
Diluk smirked. "Smith, next time you visit, I'll make sure to have something even better prepared."
Smith chuckled. "I'll hold you to that."
As the night went on, Diluk's mind buzzed with new ideas. Between the Dimension Guild, his business ventures, and the fight against the Fatui, his future had never looked more promising.
