Tony was scared as Carl stopped him on his tracks.
"Where are you going to?," Carl said, one brow raised, his stance suddenly stiff with authority.
Carl's eyes narrowed as he stepped closer to Tony. "You think you can just harass her and walk away?"
"Sir, I didn't mean any harm. I was just expressing my feelings."
"Expressing your feelings? By forcing yourself on her?"
Tony looked down, ashamed. "I'm sorry, sir."
"Apologize to her, not me."
Tony turned to me, his eyes pleading. "Sidney, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you."
I nodded, still shaken. "Just leave, Tony."
Carl released his grip, and Tony was about to leave.
"You're leaving without getting paid?" Carl said with his brow raised.
Tony laughed nervously, still holding his tool bag, trying to appear unfazed. "Ah, sir, I just thought—"
"How long have you been here?" I interrupted, my curiosity getting the better of me.
