Chapter 27 - Argument

Clara glared at him, and it instantly reminded him of someone in particular. "I'm going to be clear with you. I want you to leave Crescentia alone."

Damian's expression was blank, but deep inside, he was slightly flabbergasted. 

"I don't know what you want from her, but I'm begging you to stir clear from Crescentia. She means a lot to me," she added. 

Now, Damian was impressed. 

'Why is that girl surrounded by people who love her dearly? I'm jealous,' he thought. 

"What if I don't want to? What are you going to do about it?" He questioned, his hands in his pockets, as he stood relaxed. 

Clara's glare only intensified as she clenched her fist in rage. 

"Crescentia is a young girl whose dream is to see the world. She isn't some kind of property you're going to own and expect sex from in exchange for rendering help so she can get back at her relatives."

"I see," Damian replied, still impressed.
