It came to my understanding that 'females' were a rare species that could be found only amongst regular humans. Their existence was made for werewolves, the Alphas, to be precise.
Their existence was a huge aid to Alphas, so once the existence of a female is spotted, an Alpha does not waste time to claim them as theirs, even if they were still an infant in the womb.
As for the Alphas who already had females but were looking towards the future of their pack, they would choose the female early on, whether their heir was born yet or not.
And it also came to my understanding that such females were capable of giving birth to more Alphas with strong traits of their fathers... Even if they were male. What the hell?!
Did that mean I was going to get pregnant?
That trait didn't follow their body structure from birth just because they were female, but after being marked by their Alpha, they would undergo changes, which often came after a long and life-threatening fever.
