The soup was not only delicious, pulling me into memory lane and filling me with warmth. It was definitely a quiet place with warmth, like I wanted.
It didn't seem like Ki-hoon planned this outing, but for some reason, it worked out.
But one thing was still on my mind.
"So, that mysterious investor," I began, tilting my eyebrows at him knowingly. "It's you, right?"
"Was it that obvious?" He asked, without denying it and I cackled, proud of my observation skills.
"Let's just say, I have my eyes out for your reactions more than you think," I said. "I saw how your brows shifted when she talked about the investor."
"But you weren't even looking at me," he said and I gave a smug grin.
"That's what you think,"
Maybe I was playing the part too hard.
I cleared my throat and leaned back on the chair.
