Mouri Ran suddenly looked up and spotted Nanaya, immediately nudging her best friend. It was rare for her to compliment a guy like this, but she mainly wanted to cheer up the depressed Sonoko.

Suzuki Sonoko didn't even glance at the guy Ran mentioned. Her mind was completely filled with thoughts of Nanaya.

In Ran's shocked gaze, Nanaya walked right up to the downcast Sonoko, suddenly grabbing her waist and yanking her up into a rough embrace against his chest.

Seeing Sonoko's blissful expression, Ran genuinely felt happy for her.
"Ran, why did you run off so fast—WHAT THE FUCK?! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?! LET GO OF RAN!!"
Of course, the jealous bastard Kudo Shinichi had to witness this scene—his precious Ran and Sonoko both pressed tightly against some stranger's body, looking like two pampered sugar babies wrapped in Nanaya's arms.
Fresh off cleaning duty, Shinichi had rushed out to ramble to Ran about Sherlock Holmes bullshit when he saw this rage-inducing sight. He immediately launched himself forward, aiming a flying kick straight at Nanaya's shin.
Nanaya smirked internally. This little shit's still just a cocky brat.
Putting on a panicked face, he yelled, "Look out!"
Before the girls could react, Nanaya spun them around—forcing them to watch as Shinichi's foot came flying in.

Nanaya deliberately staggered forward from the impact, his hands "accidentally" groping harder—one arm squeezing Sonoko's slender waist, the other shamelessly palming Ran's plump ass through her skirt. At the same time, he relished the feeling of both girls' soft breasts pressing tightly against his ribs.
Totally worth taking that kick.
Too flustered by the sudden attack, Ran didn't even notice his wandering hands.
"Are you two okay?!"

Meanwhile, Ran—who'd assumed Shinichi was aiming for her—bought Nanaya's act completely. Between him "protecting" them and seeing Shinichi's reckless violence firsthand, her eyes filled with disappointment.
"Shinichi! Why would you just attack someone like that?!"
"I—I was trying to save you! Both of you!"
"Save us?!"
Ran recalled how she and Sonoko had been snuggled against Nanaya's chest, her face flushing before hardening again.
"You couldn't have asked first?! Jumping straight to violence makes you no better than a thug!"
Sonoko, still glued to Nanaya, snapped, "Kudo Shinichi, if you can't explain why you assaulted my boyfriend, the Suzuki family will END you!"
"Boyfriend?!"
Shinichi couldn't believe it. The tomboyish Sonoko actually had a man?
"Tch. Watch out, you airhead. He's probably just after your family's mo—"
WHAM
Before he could finish, Shinichi's world went black as Nanaya's foot slammed into his gut, sending him skidding across the pavement.
Nanaya coldly stared down at the wheezing detective.
"Kudo Shinichi. If you attacked me over a misunderstanding, I could forgive that. But—" His voice turned icy. "Insulting Sonoko and slandering my feelings for her? I think a lawsuit would be more appropriate."
Then, glancing at Sonoko with faux sorrow:
"Sorry, Sonoko. Maybe he's right... Someone like me doesn't deserve you. Let's just forget we ever met."
With that, Nanaya turned and strode away.
"NANAYA! WAIT!!"
Sonoko screamed after him before whirling around—
SLAP
Her palm cracked across Shinichi's face.
"We're done, Kudo Shinichi. Never speak to me again."
Spitting those words, she sprinted after Nanaya.
"Ugh... Ran, help me up! I was just looking out for her! Why's that bitch overreacting?!"
Shinichi groaned, having clearly seen Nanaya's perverted hands and predatory gaze. But before he could complain more—
A crowd of students had already gathered, whispering and pointing at the spectacle.
