Chapter 129 - The Battle Continues

The night was supposed to end. But for Mirshad and Sophia, the war had just begun.

Sophia lay there, her body still trembling, her breath uneven. She tried to move, but her legs refused to listen.

"Mirshad… I think you actually killed me," she whispered, her voice barely escaping her lips.

Mirshad smirked, his eyes glowing in the dim light. "Oh? So you want me to bring you back to life?"

Sophia's eyes widened. "No, no! I'm already alive, I swear!"

But it was too late.

Before she could even protest, Mirshad leaned over, trapping her beneath him again.

Meanwhile, outside the room…

The entire house was in chaos.

Rayyan paced back and forth, checking the time. "Two days left until the world meeting, and this guy is still inside!"

Amir was laughing uncontrollably. "Bro, I don't think he's coming out anytime soon. We should just declare Sophia as missing!"

Malik shook his head. "Damn, we trained him for battle, but clearly, we forgot to train Sophia to survive one!"

Baba sighed, rubbing his temples. "I raised a warrior, not a monster… but honestly, I'm proud."

Sophia tried to resist. She really did.

But the moment Mirshad's lips touched her skin, her mind blanked out again.

"Mirshad, wait—!"

"Shhh." He silenced her with a deep kiss, his hands trailing down her body, setting her on fire all over again.

Her resistance? Gone.

Her strength? Erased.

Her soul? Already packing its bags to leave this world.

"I'll make sure you remember this moment forever," Mirshad whispered, his voice deep, dominant, and absolutely devastating.

Sophia swallowed hard. "At this point, I might forget my own name…"

Back in the living room…

Sara walked in, looking confused. "Where is Sophia? I haven't seen her all day."

Everyone went silent.

Then, Amir burst out laughing. "Sister… your sister is currently fighting for her life."

Sara's eyes widened. "What?! Who's attacking her?"

Jabir coughed. "Not 'who'… 'what.' And the answer is: MRD."

Sara turned red. "OH. MY. GOD."

Malik smirked. "Rest in peace, Sophia."

Rayyan chuckled. "She thought she was in love with a man, but she actually fell in love with a natural disaster."

Baba stood up. "Alright, I'm knocking on the door."

Amir grabbed his arm. "Faisal, if you knock, we might lose you forever."

Faisal froze. "...Right. Let's wait."

Rayyan sighed. "We don't have a choice. The world meeting is in two days, and clearly, he's doing some 'private training' before facing the world."

Amir grinned. "Yeah… Sophia is the battlefield."

Sara turned even redder. "I'M LEAVING."

Jabir laughed. "Too late. You already heard everything."

Malik shook his head. "Let's just pray for her survival."

Sophia clung to him, her entire body weak, her breath stolen from her completely.

"Mirshad… I swear… if you keep going, I'll… I'll…!"

Mirshad smirked. "You'll what?"

Sophia's voice was barely a whisper. "I'll die happily."

Mirshad kissed her forehead, his lips brushing softly against her skin. "Then let's make sure you live long enough to remember this forever."

And with that… the battle continued.

Outside, Rayyan sighed heavily. "It's been hours."

Amir checked the clock. "Forget hours, it's been an entire day."

Baba groaned. "So what do we do?"

Malik sat back. "Nothing. Just let him finish."

Sara covered her ears. "I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING. I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING. GOODBYE!"

Amir laughed. "Yeah, let's pretend this never happened."

Jabir smirked. "But let's also prepare some energy drinks for Sophia. She's gonna need them."

Malik nodded. "And maybe a wheelchair."

Rayyan sighed. "God help her."

Baba smirked. "No… GOD IS THE PROBLEM."

And in the background… the battle continued.

The world meeting? It can wait.

For now… love was the only war that mattered.
