Chapter 308 - The Descent Begins

The room still held the echo of Rayyan's words. The family had not moved since the signal appeared. Hope filled the air like the first drop of rain on a parched land. But hope alone wasn't enough.

Now came the preparation.

Rayyan stood, wiping the last tear from his face.

"Faisal," he said, voice clear and steady, "we begin now. Prepare the mission chamber. This is not a recovery." He paused. "This is a resurrection."

Within the hour, every screen inside the island's war chamber came to life. Massive digital maps of the ocean lit up the walls. Tactical teams gathered. Engineers. Mechanics. Reapers. Scientists. Every force that once fought beside MRD now returned for him.

Amir, voice sharp, took control of equipment logistics. "We need every submersible capable of reaching the deepest trenches. I want the latest sonar, pressure-resistant drones, thermal trackers — anything that can survive down there."

Malik added, "The Sirius signal cut off at 11,000 meters. That's beyond what any human tech ever retrieved. But if he's down there, we're going down too."

Jabir coordinated the naval fleet. "We need a carrier ship with long-range support. Enough food, medical gear, and drone launch pads to sustain a month if needed. Send coordinates to our naval HQs."

The mission wasn't to fight. It was to find a god in the sea.

Maa helped Sophia sit on the edge of the bed. The babies were asleep beside her, but her eyes were locked on the live screen across the room. The war room's mission feed played silently.

She saw Rayyan issuing orders. Baba checking equipment. The brothers loading weapons, not for war, but for the unknown.

Sophia placed her hand on her new born. "He's coming back," she whispered.

Maa squeezed her hand, her voice soft. "Yes. He heard your soul call him. Now he's coming for all of us."

Within forty-eight hours, three war-class ships were prepped at sea. Two experimental submarines were activated — both designed with deep-sea reinforced alloy and powered by MRD's old tech. The Phantom Reapers arrived. They didn't ask questions. They knew.

This wasn't a rescue for a man. It was the calling of the one who once rose beyond gods.

Rayyan stood on the command deck. Wind in his face. Eyes locked on the sea.

"Hold on, brother," he whispered. "We're coming."
