BZZ! BZZ!
Zara reached under the pillow and pulled out her phone, her body still tingling from Kai's touch. She didn't want to look at the screen. Not now. Not when things were just getting heated. But curiosity tugged at her.
She squinted.
[Calling: Diego Vasquin]
Her heart skipped.
This was a really bad time. She remembered how Kai reacted to the idea of him taking her out.
Kai noticed the pause. He leaned in, still lazily brushing a finger across her bare shoulder.
"Who's calling?"
Zara wasn't sure about Diego Vasquin, at least not yet. He was handsome, smart and funny, but they hadn't gotten close yet, and she was enjoying spending time with Kai.
They could talk later. For now, she had to consider Kai's feelings.
She cleared her throat, dropping the phone back down.
"Don't worry. It's not important."
She turned back to Kai, her seductive eyes gleaming.
"Now—" she straddled him.
"Where were we?"
