The next day was dull as usual. I arrived at the company, dragging my feet like I had weights tied to my ankles. Sleep still clung to my eyes, and my brain refused to cooperate.
I slumped down at my desk and began arranging my things when I noticed Nakyung approaching, carrying two cups of coffee like a peace offering. She placed one gently on my desk before sliding into the chair beside me.
"Good morning, Minji," she said cheerfully, brushing her dyed strands behind her ear.
"Morning," I replied with a half-yawn, rubbing my eyes. "Thanks for the coffee."
"You looked like you needed it. You were basically sleepwalking when you walked in."
I let out a soft chuckle. "Not far from the truth."
She leaned back, sipping from her cup. "So… what's the deal with you and Yuna now? You two seemed surprisingly civil yesterday."
I shook my head. "We're not friends. She's just… helping."
"Hmm," she said, raising her brows in amusement. "Helping with a touch of drama, as always."
