Aldegia Kingdom – The Royal Princess's Chamber
In the heart of the royal palace lies the Royal Princess's Chamber, a lavish sanctuary radiating elegance and regal femininity. The polished white marble floor reflects the golden and pale pink hues of the ornate walls, while soft silk curtains embrace tall windows, allowing golden rays of sunlight to filter in, filling the room with gentle warmth and a touch of enchantment.
Royal ornaments and finely carved figurines are scattered across the shelves and corners, each bearing the mark of master craftsmen and telling tales of the kingdom's royal past. Oil paintings adorn the walls, depicting pivotal moments in the royal family's history, while alongside them, mirrors with gilded carved frames reflect the light in a mesmerizing way, creating an illusion of depth and grandeur.
At the center of the room stands a grand bed, its frame carved from teak wood, draped in velvet fabrics and golden embroidery. It is crowned with luxurious cushions woven with silk and silver threads. Beside the bed rest small tables holding exquisite books, delicate jewelry cases, and little vases of fragrant flowers spreading a soothing aroma throughout the chamber.
Crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling, bathing the chamber in a warm glow that dances upon the furniture and ornaments, adding a magical charm to the atmosphere. Every detail of the room, from the smallest pendant on the table to the largest figurine on the shelf, reflects the elegance of the royal princess, declaring to any who enter that this is not merely a room, but her own world—a realm where beauty, grace, and royal majesty intertwine.
La Folia Rihavein.
That was the name of the princess who owned this chamber.
La Folia is an exceptionally beautiful young woman, to the point she is considered the Second Coming of Freya.
She possesses a striking, elegant, and formal appearance with features often tied to European aesthetics. Her long, smooth silver hair flows past her shoulders, styled with a natural yet slightly voluminous look. Her almond-shaped, vivid blue eyes shine with an intense, captivating gaze. Her fair complexion and flawless skin add to her refined and noble allure.
La Folia is a very beautiful pale-skinned girl with hip-length silver hair, her bangs falling mostly over the right side of her face, and crystal-clear sky-blue eyes.
She sat on the edge of her bed, surrounded by scattered papers carrying urgent news about the recent events on Itogami Island. Her slender fingers moved gracefully between the pages, gliding over lines of elegant script, while her luminous blue eyes traced the reports with firm focus. Her face radiated calm and maturity well beyond her age, as though every burden or crisis were nothing more than fleeting details before her composed, regal demeanor.
The reports spoke of the utter failure of Gigafloat Management Corporation, whose negligence allowed dangerous terrorists to infiltrate the island, further staining the reputation of the Warlord's Empire. They had permitted terrorists from their own country to escape and orchestrate a large-scale attack in another nation. Yet, the reports also highlighted the heroics of the Fourth Primogenitor, who did not hesitate to risk his life to stop those terrorists and protect the island, preventing civilian casualties and proving himself very different from the rumors that branded him as nothing more than a walking disaster.
The golden sunlight streaming through the silk curtains touched La Folia's face, casting a silver glow upon her long silky hair. The white sheets reflected in her sky-blue eyes, amplifying the aura of elegance and majesty surrounding her.
She extended her jade-like hand, slender fingers lifting another report—this one bearing a picture of a girl strikingly similar to her, with the same hair and eye color, though shorter-haired, dressed in Saikai Academy's school uniform.
Kanase Kanon.
The daughter of the former king—making her La Folia's aunt, despite being younger. The discovery of her existence had caused great shock in the royal palace, especially upon learning that her guardian was none other than Kanase Kensei.
Kanase Kensei was once a court magician of Aldegia Kingdom, stripped of his post long ago. Yet now, he had taken in a girl bearing the royal bloodline of Aldegia, sparking grave concerns for the royal family. Many of the spells and rituals Kensei practiced required the blood of Aldegia's royal line.
Thus, La Folia was tasked with traveling to Itogami Island to retrieve Kanon and verify Kensei's true intentions.
But now…
With the sudden emergence of the Fourth Primogenitor, whose stance was clearly hostile toward the Warlord's Empire, La Folia was forced to reconsider her plans. Aldegia Kingdom and the Warlord's Empire had been at war for forty years. Though things had calmed in recent times, forging positive ties with the Fourth Primogenitor—recognized as the strongest vampire in the world—would prove valuable both in the short and long term.
"This journey won't be boring," La Folia murmured with a faint smile as she picked a set of photos from the stack of papers.
Every photo depicted Kojou—dressed neatly on a date with a girl, yawning lazily during class, or even in the past when he had been a basketball player hiding his identity and living like a fool.
"He's incredibly handsome… If I hadn't investigated his background thoroughly, I might have mistaken him for royalty—or the true Fourth Primogenitor who has ruled for centuries."
Kojou's silver hair closely resembled her own, and his deep blue eyes mirrored the endless sea. His very presence exuded an aura of nobility and majesty, one that even surpassed hers.
If she allowed her imagination to wander, she could almost believe Aldegia's royal family were descended from Kojou himself. Despite their differences, the similarities in hair and eye color were undeniable, and it wouldn't be strange to think of them as his bloodline—if he had indeed lived for countless years as the Fourth Primogenitor.
Fortunately, Kojou had official records of his human birth and upbringing before becoming the Fourth Primogenitor, dispelling that bizarre and impossible notion from her mind.
"Your Highness, Ragnvald and the Royal Guard are prepared to depart for Japan at any time."
The speaker was a beautiful young woman with short silver hair and bright blue eyes, her striking features clearly bearing traces of Aldegia's royal bloodline. Yet, she did not appear to be of the direct line, given her position as a soldier serving La Folia.
She was none other than Kataya Justina—a distant cousin of La Folia, granddaughter of the former king's brother, far removed from the line of succession.
"I see. Let us depart at once."
La Folia nodded calmly, casting one final glance at the photos of Kojou and Kanon before slipping them into the inner pocket of her luxurious black coat. She then left her chamber alongside Justina.
