After the elevator chimed open on the 10th floor, Charlotte stepped out, her boots clicking softly against the marble floor. The corridor here was minimalistic but elegant, with crystalline sconces glowing faintly on the walls.

She walked with purpose toward a section of the wall that looked perfectly seamless—no handle, no visible frame.

Before she could say a word, the wall-like door whooshed open with a soft mechanical sigh.

A familiar voice greeted her, laced with amusement.

"Your Highness, I'm eternally grateful that you've graced this humble commoner's home."

Standing on the other side was Alex Dragonheart—silver-haired, blue-eyed, and infuriatingly smug as always. He wore a simple dark tee and loose pants, but somehow still looked like he'd walked out of a noble fashion magazine.

Charlotte's mouth twitched.

'He's shameless as ever.'

She walked inside with crossed arms.
