Two months later…
Serena's belly started to grow and now she was wary of doing any strenuous activity outside the house. Although she was no longer showing any symptoms of morning sickness, her food portions were getting bigger and bigger so Asher had to buy more food supplies than usual.
Because a big event was about to be held, Asher was busy holding meetings in the office all day long. Meanwhile, all Serena could do was coordinate with her team members to contact various vendors and sponsors who supported them. She was not allowed to hang out outside the office often, which made her start to get bored.
As the end of work approached, Serena wanted to visit her husband in the CEO's office. However, considering that her husband would not have returned to the office at this hour, she was forced to abandon her intention.
Suddenly all of her team members gathered into her room making her eyes widen. Moreover, they all brought snacks for her.
