"Good! Now that sounds like a true ninja alliance!" Tsunade shouted with conviction as the others rallied behind her proposal.
For a moment, Hyuga Gakuya could almost hear a triumphant war anthem playing in the background. This world really did have that classic shōnen energy sometimes.
And just like that, before he even realized what was happening, Gakuya had been pushed into the position of Supreme Commander of the Allied Shinobi Forces—under the name of Chiba Mokushū, of course.
This world truly was something else. Never in his wildest thoughts did Hyuga Gakuya expect to become the leader of the entire alliance of the ninja world. Had he cleaned up his image too well?
To think he was now the commander of the Allied Forces—while also secretly pulling the strings behind every major threat. He was both the villain behind the curtain and the face of the righteous cause.
It was strange, surreal even.
Still, now was the time to speak up and make his stance clear. Though there was no prepared script for this moment, improvisation had always been his strength.
Gakuya took a deep breath and scanned the crowd before speaking with steady resolve.
"Since you all place your trust in me, I'll give everything I have in return."
"This moment has proven that there's still something worth believing in within this world. Faced with crisis, you've all set aside old grudges to come together. That alone is proof that this world has potential. So let us work together... and build a world worthy of that hope."
"My first order as Supreme Commander is this: We are officially founding the Allied Shinobi Forces—unified politically and militarily across the six great nations."
Mei Terumi nodded in agreement but added a word of caution.
"Although we've all agreed on this in principle, we'll still need approval from our respective daimyō. Without their financial support, we won't be able to mobilize troops."
Gakuya narrowed his eyes at her.
"It seems the Mizukage didn't quite understand my words. As commander of this alliance, my aim isn't merely to repel the enemies before us."
"I intend to create a perfect world. And in that world... there's no place for the rot of monarchy."
There was killing intent in his voice—but it wasn't aimed at the Five Kage. It was aimed at the daimyō.
"If you don't know how to handle this… then allow the Federation to take care of it for you."
With that one statement, Hyuga Gakuya perfectly embodied the image of a radical revolutionary.
His words struck a chord in several hearts. Some of the leaders, already impressed by the Federation's system, had been wavering for some time. Deep down, they agreed with him. They just hadn't found the right opportunity—until now.
The daimyō held the nations' finances and, by extension, kept the Kage restrained. But now, with the threat to the entire shinobi world looming, they had the perfect excuse to act. They could use the war as justification for seizing control.
Among the Five Kage, the one who reacted most strongly was Gaara. The Land of Wind already had the closest ties to the Federation and had been heavily influenced by its ideals.
Over the years, many senior shinobi and government officials had tried to convince Gaara to stage a coup. He had always refused, fearing total collapse. But now, the opportunity was right in front of him. He wasn't about to let it slip away.
Tsunade tried to step in, a voice of caution in the rising tide.
"We don't need to go that far. Let's leave that discussion for after the war. I think the daimyō will agree to our plans once they understand the scale of the threat we face."
Her working relationship with the daimyō of the Land of Fire had been relatively smooth. She didn't want to burn that bridge—at least not yet.
Before Gakuya could reply, the Raikage, A, spoke up.
"I disagree. Now is the perfect time to overthrow these outdated feudal systems. If we miss this chance, who knows when another one will come."
Surprisingly, the Raikage was the first to side with Gakuya. Not because their ideologies aligned—but because he genuinely cared for his nation and was tired of watching it be drained by the daimyō's corruption.
Gaara followed.
"I support this move."
Ōnoki, the elderly Tsuchikage, fell into a thoughtful silence before finally saying:
"Perhaps... this is the change we've needed all along."
Mei bit her lip, clearly torn, but finally nodded.
"Then let's move forward."
Gakuya smiled, pleased.
"Excellent. Then let's begin by resolving our internal problems so that we can face our external enemy as one."
"The feudal era is over. It's time to bring it to an end. You all must act quickly—take control of the daimyō and form temporary parliaments."
"The Federation will handle war logistics and assist smaller nations with their revolutions. We're short on time, so I expect a provisional government to be established in ten days."
"Complete wartime mobilization. Bring your elite forces here. As for protecting the Nine-Tails and Eight-Tails, Konoha and I will handle that, for now."
With Gakuya's firm guidance, each nation's shinobi began moving swiftly. In no time, they had taken control of their daimyō, replacing them with temporary councils composed of officials aligned with the new vision. The goal was simple: maintain functionality and hold the line until the war ended.
Of course, such a drastic move wasn't without backlash. Loyalists to the daimyō resisted, but their opposition was meaningless in the face of overwhelming shinobi power.

Elsewhere, Obito had returned to a makeshift base with Sasuke in tow. Kabuto was already waiting by the surgical table, preparations complete.
Beside him sat a sealed container—within it, Uchiha Madara's Rinnegan.
Kabuto grinned as they entered and held out two small vials.
"Drink up. We'll begin the Rinnegan transplant as soon as you're ready. With your mastery over Wood Release and the Sharingan, you should be more than capable of handling that power."
Sasuke frowned as he stared at the vial. He hesitated. This power wasn't his own—he wasn't sure if he should take it.
Seeing that, Obito spoke up, his tone sharp.
"Sasuke, this is our chance to become stronger. Don't hesitate."
Sasuke clenched his jaw. He thought back to the power the Sage Art organs had given him… and to the revenge he had yet to complete. Without another word, he downed the potion and laid down on the table.
Obito followed suit.
Kabuto got to work, his movements precise and practiced. The tension in the air was thick as time dragged on.
Eventually, the surgery was complete.
Both Sasuke and Obito now had a single Rinnegan embedded in their foreheads.
Sasuke felt the surge of power course through his body and smirked.
"With this power… the shinobi world will tremble beneath us."
Obito remained silent. All he wanted was for this plan to reach its end—so he could retreat to the Moon and spend the rest of his life with Rin.
At that moment, a White Zetsu clone peeked in from outside.
"The daimyōs across the shinobi nations have been subdued. The Allied Forces are consolidating their power."
Obito let out a low scoff.
"Hmph. Moving faster than expected… But it won't change anything."
Sasuke rose to his feet.
"Then let's go... and shatter their delusions."
Obito nodded. Together, the two of them stepped out of the base—ready to face the war that was about to erupt.
