Zane's POV ~
Josh went ahead and took me to the Alpha's dormitory. Surprisingly, he led me to a new room even though I wasn't part of the institution's training program. According to him, Alfie thought I might want to take a nap or at least have a place to relax at some point. Hence, a private dorm had been arranged for me.
The room wasn't particularly spacious, but it was neatly arranged. It contained a bed, a simple desk with a sleek-looking computer system, a wardrobe, and a dressing table tucked into the corner. I walked over and sat on the bed with a heavy sigh, the mattress dipping slightly beneath my weight. Josh pulled out the chair from the dressing table and sat in front of me, resting his elbows on his knees, watching me quietly.
Despite the room's small size, it was well-ventilated. I didn't bother opening the windows, though....the air conditioner hummed softly in the background, its cool breeze enough to keep the room comfortable.
