The Sky Demon Sect's ship hummed through the air, sleek and massive, a stark contrast to the modern cityscape below. Ravihiro leaned against a glass panel inside, staring at the bustling streets beneath them. The city lights reflected in his crimson eyes, but his mind was elsewhere.
A global competition had been announced—a battle among the strongest heroes across nations. Invitations had been sent to elite warriors, and naturally, the Sky Demon Sect was invited.
However, Ravihiro refused to participate.
"I'm not interested in playing games," he muttered, brushing off the invitation.
"Of course, you aren't." Rumina smirked, arms crossed. "You don't care about proving yourself to others, only to yourself."
Kalki, Huo, Tang, and Haruno exchanged glances. They knew there was one reason Ravihiro might care.
Krishima.
A few days had passed since their brutal fight. Krishima remained an enigma, his abilities defying all logic. His strength rivaled Ravihiro's, yet he showed no signs of having a god's avatar like other heroes. His energy manipulation was erratic, shifting unpredictably.
And now, he had entered the competition.
Krishima's Entry into the Competition
The stadium was packed, cameras flashing as millions tuned in worldwide. This wasn't just an ordinary tournament—it was a display of Earth's strongest warriors.
Heroes representing different nations gathered, their names and abilities announced. Each avatar of a god had their own divine techniques, revered as champions of their people.
And then came Krishima.
He walked into the arena, hands in his pockets, his signature half-smirk on his face. Unlike the other heroes who radiated divine energy, Krishima's presence was... unsettling.
The announcers struggled to describe him.
"Krishima… uh… an unknown fighter with no recorded lineage or avatar abilities. But don't be fooled—his recent spar with an unidentified opponent left onlookers in shock!"
In the Sky Demon Sect's viewing area, Ravihiro narrowed his eyes.
He had felt Krishima's strength firsthand. Even now, he still couldn't understand what Krishima was.
Rumina, sitting beside him, noticed his expression. "Curious about him?"
"More like… watching a puzzle solve itself," Ravihiro admitted.
Meeting Krishima Again – Introducing Him to the Team
After the match, Krishima casually walked into the waiting area, where Ravihiro's team had gathered. He wasn't even sweating from his fight.
Before Ravihiro could say anything, Haruno spoke first.
"Who the hell are you?" she demanded, pointing at him.
Krishima tilted his head, looking at her like she was a strange creature. "Shouldn't I be the one asking that?"
Haruno scowled, but Kalki smirked. "You're not bad. I saw your match. You don't use divine power like the others… but you're still strong."
Krishima shrugged. "I manage." Then, he looked straight at Ravihiro.
"So, you decided not to enter, huh?" Krishima said with a grin. "Was our fight enough to scare you?"
Ravihiro scoffed, crossing his arms. "If I wanted to, I could take you apart piece by piece."
"Oh? Then why don't you?"
Before Ravihiro could respond, Rumina placed a hand on his shoulder. "We don't fight for entertainment. Unlike you, we have a mission."
Krishima raised an eyebrow. "Mission, huh?" He glanced at Ravihiro's team. "Guess I should introduce myself, then."
He turned to the group, his smile sharp.
"Name's Krishima. No fancy god powers, no fancy origins. Just a guy who likes breaking limits."
The team exchanged glances. They could all feel it—something about Krishima was off.
But whether he was friend or foe, only time would tell.
