"What do you want from me?"
Katarina spoke in a low, miserable voice that made it seem like she had completely given up on life. Jason could understand why she would sound like that. She had gone from the leader of one of the strongest guilds in the country to a prisoner used by the government whenever they wanted, so it would be difficult for her to come to terms with her new life. But Jason didn't care about any of that bullshit. Jason came here to give her a simple warning.
"I still don't trust you, so if you try anything stupid, I'll kill you."
Katarina glanced up at Jason with a pitiful look on her face.
"You're enjoying this, aren't you? You spared my life so you could see me suffer, and now you're here to gloat."
Jason scoffed.
"You overestimate how much I care about you. Think what you want, Katarina, but remember my warning. Don't do anything stupid."
Jason turned around to leave, but Katarina suddenly spoke up.
