"You and your families have been stuck inside your houses for the past few days to try and avoid the military, so why are you acting like we've done something horrible?"
Jason's genuine question shocked the civilians, and some of them just gaped at Jason like he had grown a second head! Jason just killed fifteen dragons and dragon riders, and he was asking them why they thought he had done something horrible!? Was that a joke!?
Jason frowned as he continued.
"I know you don't support the Military. You didn't want them to be here, but you put up with them because you were afraid of what they would do to you. It was the same for my people. The Sovereign sent his army into my world and destroyed much of it while searching for Princess Riyala. We fought back and killed the people who attacked us, and now we've come here to take care of the Sovereign. We are on the same side."
