Jason had sent out multiple phantoms to search the main palace so that he would know the Sovereign's location, and once Jason was sure that the Sovereign was in a position where he could ambush him, Jason was going to swoop in and try to kill him in one shot.
'Or at least injure him seriously. I have no idea what sort of abilities he had as an SSS Rank. Hoping to take him out in one blow might be a fool's dream.'
