The battle between Jason and the Sovereign had taken place in one of the eastern towers of the castle, so even though that tower and its surroundings were completely destroyed by their battle, the main castle was still relatively intact.
"Look, it's him! The Kingslayer!"
"He's the one who killed the Sovereign!"
"Did you see him controlling those dead soldiers? I think he's a necromancer. He even has a Lich in his army!"
