Jason gained an intensity in his eyes when this thought went through his mind, and he turned to glance at Gina's sleeping figure one last time before he finally turned and gazed out of the window and at the slowly brightening sky. The suns in Vanta rose very slowly. And this meant that there was more than three hours of dawn before the day fully began. The bright yellow light from the rising sun struck the ocean in a spray of pure gold, and it cast Vanta in such a beautiful light that it made Jason wish that the sun would keep rising forever.
