As Ramiris and Velsun hugged—her head against his chest, his arms wrapped gently around her—the world felt unusually still for just a moment.
And then—Clap. Clap. Clap.
Slow, exaggerated clapping echoed from the side of the garden path.
"FINALLY!" came Veldora's loud voice, practically bouncing as he skipped forward with a huge grin."I was this close to ruining the moment just to speed it up!"
Behind him were Karlos, Reinhart, Zalario, and Darius, each wearing varying degrees of amused and approving expressions.
Karlos, ever the dramatic butler, had one hand on his chest and the other wiping an invisible tear.
"My deepest congratulations, Lord Velsun! Truly… a moment worthy of history."
Reinhart chuckled, giving a respectful bow.
"Congratulations, my lord. Ramiris-hime. I… had my suspicions."
Darius stepped forward, his eyes misting slightly.
"And here I thought I'd never get to see a wedding like this again in my lifetime… I'll personally oversee the preparations."
Zalario stood silently with arms crossed—but a rare, gentle smile tugged at the corners of his lips.
"I'm happy for you… both."
Veldora, of course, was practically vibrating with excitement.
"This means I get to throw the best bachelor party, right?! Right?!"
Ramiris, still red-faced, pulled away slightly from the hug to glare at him.
"If you even try, I'll seal you in a dungeon with no snacks!"
Velsun laughed softly, pulling her back into the hug.
"Guess I'm stuck with you now."
"Forever," she whispered back.
And from the shadows of Solara's palace, under the light of stars and lanterns, the celebration of love began anew—this time, not just for victory…
…but for the future.
Velsun turned to face Darius, who was now holding a small notepad like he had been waiting for this moment all his life.
The former king looked unusually energetic, already scribbling something in the margins with the enthusiasm of a man preparing a nationwide festival.
"So, Lord Velsun… should we begin the wedding right now? Or tomorrow? Just say the word. Should I inform Sister Arlen to start the ceremonial procedures?" Darius asked, eyes gleaming.
Velsun blinked.
"You already had everything planned, didn't you?"
Darius cleared his throat.
"I prefer to think of it as being prepared for all eventualities."
Ramiris, still red in the face, waved her hands wildly.
"W-Wait wait wait! What do you mean right now?! I haven't picked a dress! I haven't even screamed about it into a pillow yet!"
Karlos stepped in smoothly, already producing a small leather-bound wedding planner book.
"Fret not, Ramiris-hime. I anticipated this scenario as well. I have three potential dress designs from the palace seamstresses—one of them featuring golden embroidery styled after sun runes, personally inspired by Lord Velsun's divine presence."
Veldora leaned toward Reinhart and whispered loudly,
"See? See? This is what happens when you're late to your own love story. It goes from kiss to wedding faster than I finish a snack stash."
Reinhart sighed, but smiled.
Zalario, in his usual calm tone, spoke next.
"It would be wise to give the kingdom a day to prepare. Solara will want to witness this. The people deserve a celebration worthy of the moment."
Velsun crossed his arms, thinking for a second, then nodded.
"Tomorrow."
He turned to Darius, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips.
"Inform Sister Arlen. Prepare everything for tomorrow at sunset."
Darius gave a deep, proud bow.
"As you command, Your Majesty. Tomorrow… Solara shall witness the best wedding in the history."
Ramiris let out a tiny squeak and buried her face in her hands, peeking through her fingers with a grin.
"I'm gonna be a queen, aren't I…?"
Velsun reached over and took her hand gently.
"You already were a queen."
The sun was just beginning to dip beneath the horizon, casting a warm golden hue across the kingdom of Solara, painting the skies with hues of gold, violet, and crimson. The grand capital was alive with celebration—flowers bloomed along every street, enchanted lanterns floated through the air like fireflies, and music echoed through the stone corridors of the palace.
Today wasn't just a wedding.
It was the wedding of Solara's divine monarch—Velsun, the True Dragon of the Sun, crowned king of the strongest kingdom in the world. And he was marrying none other than Ramiris, the Ancient Spirit Queen of the Labyrinth.
The Palace Courtyard
The courtyard had been completely transformed.
Gleaming gold banners adorned with sun crests fluttered in the wind. The altar stood beneath a beautiful crystalline arch laced with light-threaded roses, all glowing softly with sun-elemental magic. Priests and priestesses of Sister Arlen's temple stood in ceremonial robes. The guests—all nobles, adventurers, and foreign rulers alike—watched with excitement and awe.
But above all…
The skies trembled slightly as three titanic, divine presences arrived.
Velgrynd, clad in a searing crimson gown, arrived in a burst of heat, nodding casually to her younger brother.
"Hope im not late."
Velzard, dressed in a frozen white gown so beautiful it could blind mortals, stood regally at her side—her gaze cool, neutral.
"I only came because elder brother said." She didn't look at Velsun, but he could feel her watching.
And then came the most radiant of all—Veldanava, their eldest brother, the Supreme True Dragon himself. His presence alone quieted the sky. He descended from the heavens wearing formal divine attire, smiling gently as he landed before Velsun.
"Little brother… I must say, I'm proud of you."
Velsun smiled, nodding.
"Wouldn't have made it here without you… even if you dumped Veldora on me."
Veldanava laughed.
Music swelled
The guests turned as Ramiris began her walk down the aisle.
She was stunning. The gown Karlos had selected was shimmering white with pale green accents, lined with glittering sunstone threads. Her long golden hair flowed down her back, crowned with a floral circlet.
For a brief moment, the eternally energetic Ramiris looked shy—bashful, even—as she approached the altar.
Velsun, dressed in divine formal robes the color of light itself, held out his hand.
She took it.
The Vows
Sister Arlen stepped forward, her voice amplified across the kingdom.
"Today, before gods and dragons, before the world and time itself—we gather to unite two powerful beings not only in alliance… but in love."
The ceremony followed, ancient and divine in nature. The rings were blessed by the sun itself, forged from heavenly materials brought from Solara's divine vault.
Finally, the time came.
"Velsun, God-King of Solara Do you accept Ramiris as your queen, to walk beside you through eternity?"
"I do."
"Ramiris, Queen of the Fairies. Do you accept Velsun as your king, to walk beside you through the skies and beyond?"
"I… do!"
"Then, by the authority of the divine, I pronounce you bonded for all time."
"You may now kiss."
Velsun leaned forward, but this time, Ramiris beat him to it—grabbing his collar and kissing him in front of the entire kingdom.
The Sky Erupts
As the kiss sealed their union, the skies exploded with golden fireworks. Birds took flight. Magic flowed through the land. The people of Solara cheered—no, they roared. Their king… their god… had found love.
Karlos wiped an imaginary tear.Reinhart beamed with pride.Darius clutched his chest like a proud parent.Zalario allowed a rare, soft smile.Veldora, of course, was screaming:
"BEST! WEDDING! EVER!!"
Even Velzard cracked the tiniest of smiles—while Velgrynd clapped genuinely. And Veldanava, looking up at the heavens, simply whispered:
"She was always meant to find you."
The wedding banquet of Solara was unlike anything the world had ever seen.
Tables stretched across the royal courtyard, lined with dishes both mortal and divine—flames that danced without heat, fruit that glowed with soft magic, drinks that sparkled like stars. The air was filled with music from an elven orchestra, and spirits of light danced overhead.
But at the central table, seated atop a golden dais meant only for the gods and the dragons, sat the True Dragon Family—together, for the first time in eras.
The True Dragon Table
At the head of the long, radiant table sat Veldanava, smiling warmly.
To his left: Velsun, newly married and still blushing despite trying to maintain his usual calm.
Beside him: Ramiris, his new bride, grinning ear to ear, a cup in hand and absolutely enjoying the attention.
To Veldanava's right: Velgrynd, sipping her wine casually, already several glasses in and enjoying herself.
Next to her: Velzard, as composed and elegant as ever, silently judging the food… and occasionally flicking glances at Ramiris and Velsun with a subtle smirk.
And of course, across from them all:Veldora, who was busy stuffing his mouth with food like a starved dragon at an all-you-can-eat buffet.
