Everyone heads to the courtyard to begin training, but Kai heads into the forest and begins punching and kicking Trees. Kai: "Ha, hya!" Kai is suddenly ambushed by two deathbringers (Beastly human-bird hybrids with the intention of eradicating humanity, they want to kill humans because they shattered the Sacred Eclipse) able to hold his own but isn't able to land any hits on the deathbringers and ends up getting severely injured. He stands up once more and lands throws a heavy punch, landing his first hit on the creatures but is thrown into a nearby tree causing him to cough blood. Kai: "Alright, these creatures are actually getting kinda annoying now!" Kai clenches his fist and grits his teeth, his annoyance and anger rising. Kai: "Die! You worthless pieces of trash!" Kai's immense anger causes his Pure Aether to evolve into raw Aether (the most aggressive type of Aether. It relies on anger and rage) He uses the raw Aether to enhance his speed and strength as he charges at the deathbringers. Kai unleashes a barrage of punches and kicks. Kai kicks the deathbringers' heads off. The other attacks but has it's head is also quickly dismembered. Kai: "too easy!" Kai deactivates his raw Aether and hears clapping, Kai looks over and sees Lysander and Rhea. Lysander: "Took you long enough buddy." Rhea: "Give the guy a break, you did good Kai."
The next day Kai wakes up to an all out brawl between his faction, The Eclipse Syndicate and Zerath's hollow blades. Kai is surprised as Zerath is present during this attack. Zerath effortlessly wipes out our faction with his cursed Aether, only, Lysander, Zara and Rhea continue to stand against him. They all simultaneously attack the Hollow blades' leader but it ends in vain as they get blasted away by Zerath's servants. Rhea: "Damn you Zerath! What do you want here anyway?!" Zerath: "No need for that tone girl. I come here in search of the shard your friend is harbouring." Rhea: "you have another shard Kai?" Kai: "No! they took mine a few days ago already. Zerath: "Not him you imbecile!" Zerath points to Lysander, Zerath: "You. Hand it over boy! Or my servants will just have to take it!" Lysander's eyes blaze with defiance but he knows that he's in a bad position to deny. Lysander: "alright, alright" Lysander reluctantly summons the shard and hands it to the nearby hollow blade member. Zerath: "good boy." Kai clenches his fists before speaking "you mean to tell me... That you killed all these people and caused all of this destruction for a shard?!" Zerath: "why yes." Zerath flaunts the shard, purposely angering Kai, Zerath: "plus, there Isn't a thing you can do about it!" Kai: "oh I'll do something about it!" Zara rushes to Kai and holds him back, Zara: No! Leave him Kai." Kai's eyes glow with hatred and raw Aether. Zerath: "let's go boys!" Kai: "you kill my family, you take my shard, you hurt my friends and you destroy my faction! Now I have reasons to slaughter you! You garbage! You listening?! I said I'm gonna obliterate you, you filthy rat!" Zerath and his servants walk into their portal, seemingly unaffected by Kai's insults and threats.
