Chapter 366 - Assassins

For a moment, Garret had thought that this was indeed the end for him. The proximity between him and Seraphina was far too close, and at such a short distance, dodging was nearly impossible.

As he spiraled through all his life choices and silently wished he had never provoked the red haired man and woman, a transparent barrier suddenly lit up before him.

It was then that he finally remembered the personal guard he had brought along from the camp.

Seeing that barrier, he could barely contain the excitement surging within him. If not for the current situation, he would have given the guard a big hug and kiss.

Despite another figure appearing out of thin air, neither Gabriel nor Seraphina seemed surprised.

They had sensed his presence seconds ago. Seraphina had simply chosen not to make it obvious, deliberately giving Garret the illusion that they were unaware of his assassin class companion.
