"Alright, everyone sit down," Alina said, her tone sharper than before as she clapped her hands once. Her expression was serious, lips pressed together.
The babies blinked in confusion but shuffled to the floor in a cluster, so close to each other that they looked like one big fluffy ball of supernatural children. Luna immediately scowled, pushing at Drake with her elbow when his chubby cheek smooshed against her shoulder.
"Stop sticking to me!" she growled, her golden eyes glaring.
Drake only grinned innocently. "I'm not sticking, I'm just… leaning!"
Kelpie, sitting on her other side, was even worse. His damp little fingers kept flicking droplets of water onto her arm every time he moved. "Oops… sorry… oop—sorry again."
"Kelpie!!!" Luna snapped, ready to pounce, but Alina's eyes narrowed and that was enough to make them both freeze.
