"Me and you, Drake! Only we're left!" Boo squealed excitedly, spinning in circles and nearly bonking his head against the ceiling. He floated down and leaned close to Drake's ear, whispering like it was the biggest secret in the world.
Drake instantly sat up straight, wings twitching with anticipation. "Me?? Really?!"
And when Alina's hand reached for the next notebook, his eyes widened so much they looked ready to pop out. It was bright orange with faint scorch marks around the corners—as if someone had accidentally set it on fire once or twice.
"IT'S YOURS!!!" Boo shouted gleefully, spinning faster, his ghostly tail flicking with delight.
Drake gasped dramatically, clapping his tiny hands together. "YESSS!!! FINALLY!!!" His little wings flapped so fast they made a soft whooshing sound, and he almost jumped out of his chair.
