"Where the hell am I?" Shouted aryan.
" You are already dead once, but you are not in afterlife yet, you are in midway to reach afterlife, I know what I'm saying might confuse you a little, so let me elaborate everything in detail precisely" said that knight-like armored being.
" Are you out of your mind? What are you talking about, or am I dreaming or what?....wait, I do remember that i crashed down on to the stream..so did I...really die? " Asked Aryan.
"Hmm! I get that you're confused and little tensed, so let me tell you everything in detail so that you'll understand your situation,let me start from the beginning....long ago, when Earth was just illuminated to the lives of beings, their lifespan and fate were pre-destined and written by the gods who created the earth, among 12 universes which are currently existing, our universe 9 was the first one to support life force of ordinary and mere mortals, gods who created earth were highly praised by the eternity who's the ruler and creater of all universes and existence, but when our gods were pre-destining the human race, though they had written many human's fate,they made a tiny mistake by procrastinating to write the fate of one of the human which leads to an anomaly, this anomaly spreads rapidly among humans, they tried hard to fix this mistake and did to some extent, but this mistake can't be undone completely, the fates of those humans which belongs to this anomaly were exposed a second chance to re-live again without any pre-destined fate, due to the little correction of their mistake, these humans fates were also pre-destined but only until they die once, but once they do, they'll have a second chance to re-live without any pre-written fate, we name this anomaly as 'dots', but this anomaly isn't without challenges too" said knight-like armored being.
" Why are you saying all this to me? Wai-tt, do you mean.... I belong to that anomaly?" Asked aryan.
" Yes!...But there's something more you gotta know about this, just like how two dots link together to form a line, you will have an opponent dot person who also contributed half to the form the line originated from both of you, I mean like when two dots die once at the same time, they'll form a line, unluckyily your opponent dot isn't a non-violent person like you, dots die only in even numbers at the same time, odd number of deaths for dots at same time isn't possible, you can consider this opposite dot guy to you as anti-dot, and to him, you're the anti-dot, one among you must die to reduce that line to singular dot again, if you kill other dot of other line, nothing will happen or change, your task will still be undone, you have to only kill your anti-dot guy, But here comes the main part... you've gotta follow some rules, know about some instructions and complete some challenges...
(Rule no.1): You shouldn't reveal about your second chance or anomaly to anyone, if you die, you'll die instantly.
(Challenge no.1): You'll be given a 6-month period to find the anti-dot and kill him, after you complete exactly 3 months in this period, if you still haven't found or kill him, you'll be a given a warning that halftime of this 6-month period has been completed where a small accident will happen to you making your soul come out from the body for like nearly 5 minutes to let you feel how death feels like again, but your soul will enter back into your body after those 5 minutes, you'll gain consciousness after around an hour or two and all your injuries will be healed too, but from that point, for every 2 months, you have to face some near-death experiences, but this near-death like experiences will stop if you manage to kill this guy in this 6-month period, but anyways you'll be facing two dangers, one at the 3rd month where your soul will come out and re-enter again and other at the 5th month of this period, where if you die in this 5th month danger, you'll be dead permanently, but if you manage to kill him before even 3 months, then no danger or harm will happen to you due to our challenges.
(Instruction no.1): Every night you sleep, you'll dream of your most memorable or regrettable phase of your past, it's like you'll relive the most important phase of your past once again in your dreams, let me be clear, it's like you'll be watching a movie of your own past where sometimes it'll be from your pov and sometimes it can cover pov of people closest to you or around you too but it covers only the most important phase or part of your past initially for the 6 months, after that 6 months if you fail to finish the challenge, every unnecessary and unimportant part of your life will be flashed too in your dreams then, you can't change any of it, but you can relive it again to feel regret, sad, happy and all kind of emotions, mostly it chooses the part of your life which you regret the most to make you feel all the pain, sadness and all emotions again, but if you finish your challenge, then except that rule no.1, challenges and instructions will be removed.." Said that knight-like armored being.
" But if I forget any of this, will I be reminded any of this again?" Asked aryan.
" No! It won't be reminded again" said knight-like armored being.
" But what if I get Alzheimer's or anything like that and forget all this?" Asked aryan.
" You'll die then, like seriously, no dot i have encountered have asked such kind of ridiculous question, you're too weird" said knight-like armored being.
" Fine fine!! But...what are you anyway? Are you a God" Asked Aryan.
" Oh! Have I forgotten to introduce myself? Very bad,My memory is getting weaker, I'm like one of the knights to the gods who created this earth, there are like in total 99 knights to the gods who created earth and I'm one of those knight too, I'm once a human, but after I die my soul entered heaven, gods pick these 99 knights from heaven, they'll chose the purest souls from heaven and train them to be emotionless and un-biased and they'll pick the top 99 souls after this training, then make them as their knights to guide these anomalies and do this little work of theirs" said knight-like armored man.
" Oh! So if I have to live without any hurdles and challenges my entire lifetime, then I must kill this other dot guy who links with me, right?" Asked aryan.
" Yes! You must" said knight.
" Do I have no other way other than killing? I don't think I can do that" said aryan and that knight replied with a resounding "No! there's no other way".
" But how do I get to know about him, like how can I identify him?" Asked aryan.
" Oh man! I missed another important detail too, my memory's truly getting worse,... you'll have a weird tingle-like feeling when you meet him for the even'th time, but in your odd number of meets, you won't have any tingle-like feeling, and this other guy might be from other city, other state or even other country, that's for you to find out, the only hint or clue to find him is to observe when you get that tingle-like feeling, you have no other clues or hints" said knight.
" What the hell do you mean? Like should I travel across every corner of countries to find this guy?" Asked aryan.
" Yeah in the worst case scenario, but most likely he'll be nearer to you, if your luck is too worse, then he might be countries away from you" said knight.
" That's so unfair!" Said Aryan.
" So does that mean you've made up your mind to kill that anti-dot?" Asked knight.
" It's not like that, but I atleast gotta find him to search up for any solution or something like that, right?" Said Aryan.
" There's no other solution or no other way and the hint I've given is the only hint you get to find him..."said knight.
"Is there anything else you've forgotten to say about, I mean you almost forgotten two things, right?" Said Aryan.
" I guess that's all is left for me to say, I don't think there's anything more " said knight.
" What do you mean you guess so? Like seriously! just try to think if there's anything else you've forgotten" said aryan.
" Nah there isn't, I have only that much to say, alright fine... it's time for you to go back to your body" said knight.
And then, Aryan's soul has been teleported back to his body where he was lying on the ground just a meter away from the stream, his car got crushed down too badly, but all his injuries were healed.
Aryan came to consciousness and observed all this.
He somehow left to his house leaving his crushed down car there at that place.
He freshed up and was still little unsure about all that stuff, but he later realised it all might be true because even though he fell down on to a stream and though his car was completely crushed, he didn't even have a single little scar on his body.
Aryan was still perplexed and very tensed.
He was about to sleep at midnight.
The Past-reminding Dream is about to be initiated..
